Ukraine's foreign legion is made up of foreign citizens that are committed to fighting the war against Russia. Whether career soldiers or ordinary citizens, they've have dropped everything to fight.

The International Legion of Ukraine is made up of foreigners determined to fight against Russian forces. The Legion's online recruitment videos call out for volunteers from around the world, encouraging fighters to 'join the fight for liberty'. At an International Legion registration centre, a new recruit describes the influx of volunteers. 'There are one or two Swiss. A lot of Swedes, some Norwegians. Americans, Canadians. At the passport control, there were two Australians'. Denis, Damien and Luc are Swiss and French citizens, with no ties to Ukraine. All three have joined the International Legion. 'The goal is not to go shoot the Russians, blowing things up. I'm not Rambo. The goal is to make sure that people's lives are saved', explains Swiss citizen Luc. Volunteer fighters risk their lives on the front line of battle - but it's a risk they are willing to take. 'Of course there is always fear, but that's what's going to keep us alive', explains one Swiss volunteer.

@@sctrippin-wes if russia invided first, then ukraine invided to DRP before russia, btw ukraine have over 1k streets named for nazis, even in kiev there's bandera street, if you didn't know turchinov started ato in 2014 and ukranian forces went to donbas and they killed over 10k civilians, you can find videos from mariupol 2014, people are trying to stop ukranian tanks there

I wish all the volunteers the best ,there on the right side of freedom, this is a real fight that Europe hasn't seen since ww2, I'm glad they only take prior service personnel, to many think that its like a video game and really have no idea the horror and hardships of combat, I'm a infantry veteran but a little to old, so nothing but respect and admiration for these young volunteers, God bless them

My heart was racing at the end of the video, and I am not even there. I’ve had cops chase me, which was exhilarating and scary, but I never feared for my life. These guys are true heroes. I hope they make it out safe and that Ukraine is victorious.

I fought for another country in 1991. The best and worst thing I ever did in my life. I warn anyone of this generation willing to listen that you better be damn sure you can be more help than burden. You will see the darkest parts of the humen experience though occasionally the brightest. Either way you will be changed forever. It is easy to become cruel and dark. It takes real strength to hold on to your humanity and compassion. There are more things to lose than just your life.

I've thought and researched this foggy option for over a year. I still want to go, but they require military experience or you fund your iwn mission. I tried tu enlist, one record defaulted that, so now i'm just looking for civdiv sapper training. I'm good with explosives and know i'll see and likely feel hell there.

Im 33, former Marine infantry. Fought in the Battle of Sangin with 3/7 back in 2010. Im still in fantastic shape. I want to go fight for Ukraine

Volunteers have to be screened before acceptance, then undergo training. Those with combat experience get preference. Imagine the pride of being accepted into Ukrainian service, the toughest of the tough.

I turned this off after hearing about the guy who they referred to as belonging to a far - right group. Here in the US according to the leftist media, the leftist politicians (the dems), and the majority of the leftist bureaucrats who make up most of the government; I am a far - right winger because I believe the US should be governed by, and according to the original founding documents of the US; NOT according to leftist ideology which asserts some sort of 'civil' rights to certain 'groups' of people rather than individual liberty as clearly defined in the US Constitution. Extremists dont entertain what the opposing views have to say, they dont usually live in countries with free speech. Free speech quells the ability for an authoritarian syndicate to rule over the population. Dont just subscribe to what your team has to say, use your brain and come up with your own thoughts about everything either side has to say. Speak out about the things you dont agree with, that's your right, but as a smart human being you _must still_ think for yourself regardless which team youre on. Listen to what this documentarians have to say or dont, believe them or dont believe them. It's your loss when you dont even listen and use your own brain to decipher what is mostly truthful, that's as dangerous as Russia outlawing free speech. that looked like a ceramic plate which is used for stab-proof vest and didn't see any kevlar i could be wrong but if im not then that will not stop a bullet i use to make both kevlar plate armor for bulletproof vests and bomb-proof vest and also the ceramic vests so im little confused as to if this will stop a bullet

Your a dear hunter? You will fucking die like all the others. The building were they recieve volunteers is gone. 5K of those died in 2 days by russian missiles stricks or in combat. The best sniper in the world died in Mariupol 20 min after he arrived. Volunteers are just target enrichment enviroment
