Joji is one of the MOST UNDERRATED artists out there today. He is literally about to make it for like 6 years now.... (p.s. I never knew "Frank".... I was introduced by way of the Joji "Run" video...). I have since "gone back".... and discovered that he is very literally...."Talented"....

My favorite song of his is slow dancing in the dark...!!

Check out Joji - Sanctuary (also tied to the ending here) It's really good Joji or Filthy Frank was always into music, think his 1st channel was dizastamusic then he made FilthyFrankTV which spawned Pink Guy and various other characters.

There's sort of a story but Joji loves to leave his fans hanging hahaha. In the end, super summarized, it's astory about a guy who's sick of the shallow life of a famous person and ends up literally escaping the planet. In order, the music videos shiwing this are Gimme Love - Sanctuary - Run. Run is a pretty unique song in it's sound and singing, so I don't really know really what to recommend from him cause his songs sound usually different to it. "Will he" has a different sound but it's pretty dark as well, and the music video is top tier.

Oh, for context of how he got into music: like you said, he was a really popular youtuber with edgy content, that would do basically the most bizzare stuff (for example, making a "human" cake w hair and weird stuff in it etc.). He was also the original creator of the Harlem shake! Check it out, it was a huge trend back in the day. Anyways, but between his regular weird and edgy content, he released some music as the pink guy, it was mostly parody music, but it wasn't all that bad. So when he stoped making youtube videos (citing his health problems, but honestly, his edgy content probably wouldn't fly in today's age), he turned to making serious music. And honestly, it made me respect him a lot more. Although his fans from youtube followed him, his original style (he produces all of his music - at least in the begining - completely by himself) also garnered him a huge amount of fans. Honestly, with his new album he became one of my favourite artists.:) So I'm very excited that you're checking him out (check the new album aswell). Been a fan of joji since pink guy era and honestly some of the songs he did as pink guy are still bangers he was always making pretty good music but now he's just taking it more mainstream
