Perfect timing for your new video as I was thinking about you. Glad you are doing well. Have fun in Italy. On my vacations I use the terrain to determine what type of exercise I do, hilly walking can be just as tiring as running. Also sightseeing on foot is a great way to get exercise in.

You are a beautiful person Joji ❤Your mohair colorwork is stunning I can’t wait to knit it- I love it when you talk about your fitness journey - I’m a 52 years old ultra trail runner and I have just started taking strength training seriously these last couple of years - I’m as passionate about running as I am about knitting so your podcast is just perfect 🤩🤩 the body soreness and joint pain are a beautiful part of my athletic life😊and of course for me the relationship between strength and cardio is an eternal struggle 😂 I wish I could only run everyday without rest days or strength sessions but that’s of course not possible in my age - I’m glad to say that the strongest I have ever felt have been the last 10 years throughout corona, hysterectomy and menopause nothing helped me as much as running and working out followed by long hours of knitting . The sweater is stunning

It's always so lovely to spend time with you, Joji. I find you always inspire me in some way... through your knitting and creativity, of course, but also how you approach life, for example. You are already in Italy now, and I hope you are having and will continue to have, a wonderful time there! It's my home country though I don't live there. I don't usually have FOMO (I am content with what I can do), but for some reason I would have particuarly liked to be there with you and the other knitters in this retreat! Perhaps one day I'll be able to join an event like this. (And I do get the anxiety bit, as well). Take care, love your t-shirt with that important reminder! ❤

I was working on La Prairie while watching this. I came back to knitting 8/9 years ago and have been putting off knitting myself a garment until now because I've been wary of getting anything to fit well. I'm finding La Prairie's construction is really suiting me. I have a narrow back, so I cast on a smaller size, then I switched to a larger size for the length as I have an unusually long torso. I have unusually short arms and I plan to shorten each fade slightly in the sleeves. I'm really appreciating the flexibility to do this. It's taking ages but I'm so looking forward to wearing it. Thank you for a beautiful pattern!

Thoroughly enjoyed listening to your design decisions relating to Perry's sweater. So sweet! I received your newsletter and I'm embracing the mistakes I made in my first knit cabled sweater. I will be the only one that knows the sleeve ribbing was supposed to be 2x1 for the whole circumference. The 2 lines created by the 1x1 rib on the front and back of each sleeve were symmetrically placed intentionally. Lol. Enjoy safe travels to Italy. Wish i could make it to the session in BC, Canada.
