Fahri M It was a video of an Asian mumble rapper. Don't remember his name but it was Lil Yatchy freestyle levels of bad. The dislike and negative comments flooded the video so they took it down. If I recall correct, it came out the day after this video came out.

Joji really killed it when he worked on these beats. It has so much charm to it. The cozy aesthetic of jazz, rough sounds of boombap, basic beats for LoFi, and the percs he does himself. All of that has such a personal sound that just resonates so much.

It’s so nice coming back to this song after 4 years. This used to be the song that would help me fall asleep or pass the time on long car rides, and now that I’m a little older, it just reminds me of the calmer moments in my life. One of my favorite songs for good reason.
@sadnessonwheels37074 жыл бұрын
This song connects to me so much because the soft tunes remind me of my time in New York with my then long distance girlfriend, she lived in the Bronx at the time and I was there during December, sometimes it would rain. When we would go to Manhattan and then back to the Bronx we would always take the D-train and one day while it was raining we actually went to Burger King together right after coming out of that very line. To add the cherry on top my nickname in elementary was Thom, with the H in it as well. These are some of the warmest and most nostalgic days in my life and this song brings me back to that very moment.

I listened to this music when I was going thru tough stuff. My favorite pets were dying. I didn't know why , they were suffering and having seizures and couldn't even eat or look at me. It was like watching a family member die and you couldn't do anything. I remember sobbing so hard my face was bright red and my eyes were swollen. This was the only thing that could calm me down. Thanks Joji.

I don’t know if you remember making this comment, but you reminded me of how my cat is currently reaching the end of his days. He still seems healthy but I dread the time when he eventually has to pass on, as he’s been with me since I was around 6 ad I’m 19 now. I’m so sorry you suffered through that, it really is like losing a family member and some people don’t realize that. Best of luck to you and I hope that your love for animals has continued on. Maybe Joji will comfort me when I am experiencing loss as well.
