A shrub is like a simple syrup but instead of equal parts 1-1 sugar and water it’s equal parts 1-1 sugar and vinegar. I’ve had it in a cocktail with a ginger shrub, gin, grilled grapefruit and a splash of soda. Good luck creating!!!
