Seriously. I’m 25 and can’t imagine looking back at my childhood and realizing my “friend” was almost 30 years old. @@sugarsore if you look up the definition of “grooming” yes it is. It doesn’t have to be sexual. Also what business does a 30 year old have being friends with a 12 year old other than some alternate agenda (fame, clout, etc)? doing one collab vid w parents present is vastly different than continuously hanging out and messaging with a child. If colleen was a man he would probably already be charged with something and be publicly seen as a pedo.

Whenever Jojo used to (and still) talk about her friendship with Colleen and Rachel she ALWAYS would say “I’m really mature for my age” or “I grew up really fast” “I relate to people who are older than me” that is a huge red flag to look for in children who experience abuse (dance moms, entertainment industry, grooming). I thought I was grown and mature as a pre teen and tons of adults would point it out but in reality it was a coping and survival mechanism called mirroring and comes from TRAUMA

As soon as she told Howie “I’ve known Colleen since I was 12” I was like girl that’s the problem. You were a CHILD and she was an adult who saw you were a child and still decided to build a relationship with you in order to benefit her career. JoJo was groomed herself in dance moms by adults working her to the bone for their own benefit and same with Shane, David, James, and Colleen who are all adults that have collaborated with her in order to gain views and money. She’s been used her whole life by adults and I hope she realizes this one day and can cut out these people

I think so many adults tend to forget that to children, the term friend is everything. Adults have the ability to distinguish between friends and colleagues, acquaintances etc but children don’t. Adults have a responsibility to keep boundaries with children not the other way around. Your input on this situation is valuable and I hope that everyone listens. Thank you

truth. if a child consider you their friend it either means: 1. you don't spend enough time with them to regularly make responsible decisions that may upset them 2. someone else is at fault for said decisions in their mind(which isn't necessarily a problem, this happens on its own a lot in families where one parent isn't around as much as the other) or 3. you're doing something wrong

Here’s a comment I left for Trisha that you should read before you defend this POS. OPEN YOUR EYES. She does not care about children in any capacity. She is only using the situation as a way to come back into the limelight and to play the victim. She has done nothing but profit off of the situation. Monetize video after monetize video and you all are really falling for it because she “changed” She has not changed in the slightest. And she still hasn’t taken any accountability for falsely, accusing an innocent Man. You all like to claim she has changed but the woman was in her 30s when she did this and if she wasn’t called out she would’ve went to her grave ruining that man’s name. Don’t call that a mistake and don’t call that problematic. Do you think it’s a coincidence that every friend she has has later been found out to be a racist predator? You really think that’s a coincidence because birds of a feather flock together. And she never cares about any of these dynamics unless she feel slighted by them. As long as she is benefiting, she will be friends with anyone. As soon as she feels like they stabbed her in the back, she turns on them. It has nothing to do with the racist and predatory behavior…..and everything to do with her ego. DEAR TRISHA, You are a disgusting human being. Sitting there profiting off the victimization of children to make money on your channel. Why are all the videos where you bring up the victims MONETIZED. You care so much about kids than give it to an organization? I thought you said on your “Colleen” video you WERE NOT GONNA TALK ABOUT IT anymore? This is like your 8th monetized video? Trish YOU ARE NO VICTIM. YOU align yourself with racist predators like Shane, Jeffree, Nash and the Vlog Squad, and Colleen and YOU engage in the SAME behaviours as they do. Where is YOUR accountability and apology? You literally flashed your vagina to teens on that TV show you did. You pretend you don’t know who Miranda Sings was but you were on tour with her grabbing your breasts in front of children. You engaged in grooming behaviours with Shane Dawson making that disgusting video with him for Shane Dawson TV and talking about pornography with him and his underage audience on their live …. Not all of us are idiots fooled by your supposed new unproblematic personality. ANSWER THIS…. WHY ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT SEX AND ONLY FANS ON YOUR FAMILY CHANNEL THAT YOU GEAR TOWARDS CHILDREN? The channel has CHILDREN ADS so why are YOU being inappropriate with them ? You’re vile and you will get exposed again. 🤮

Have you ever heard of the Big Brother/ Big Sister Program? BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS (BBBS) seeks to establish matches between youth (Littles) and volunteer adults (Bigs) that result in consistent interaction and a high level of relationship quality, marked by friendship, bonding and trust. Risks are diminished through supportive adult involvement; the caring adult volunteer focuses on the youth’s interests, strengths, and resources rather than the youth’s deficits or the deficits in their environment.

@CompanionBeans
@CompanionBeans 9 ай бұрын
@@umbellicalchick5635 imo a (positive)mentor/child relationship is much different from a friendship. In a friendship both people should ideally be giving and taking about the same amount, but a responsible adult in a mentor role recognizes that it is their responsibility to guide the child and keep them safe, and not expect anything(except maybe their own moral gratification) in return. Another important aspect of a healthy friendship is putting one's own needs first(this doesn't mean never making sacrifices for your friends, but you shouldn't be destroying yourself for them)- whereas in a mentor/child relationship the adult should always put the child's needs first, and if they're unable to do so it's their responsibility to find someone who can. Kids are still learning what healthy relationships look like so it's up to the adult to set certain boundaries for them while also respecting those set by the child(within reason, their needs still come before their feelings so sometimes doing the right thing will upset them). I do absolutely agree that family members aren't inherently safe though- they're arguably the most common culprits when it comes to abuse

I think Jojo has a lot to learn about herself and heal from, but the fact of the matter is that she defends predators. I would have a lot more empathy for her if her audience wasn’t predominantly littles, and if she didn’t dismiss the victims as liars. Her defense is actively teaching young kids that Colleen’s behavior is okay. She’s an adult now and responsible for protecting her mostly under 14yo audience. I just turned 30 but I still look back and think, yeah, those men were my friends...but they weren't, they were grooming me so they could get the things that they wanted and I had no idea because I was so young. I fully believe that Jojo was groomed by Colleen, even if she thinks she wasn't. I also find it weird though, that her family fully supported her being friends with so many adults. Hey Trish, don’t know if you would even read this, but I think this was a really well put video. I think it’s amazing that your trying to set your boundaries and show where you stand on many of these situations. I’m really sorry that you had to get hurt by so much of this in the process. ❤ sending out lots of love and I hope you can recover. You said multiple times throughout the video that “setting aside your own pain and emotional damage” but remember even though you weren’t under age (like all the other victims) you like josh were taken advantage of and thrown into really horrible situations that you obviously shouldn’t have (and obviously felt uncomfortable in.) and that’s without us knowing the full extent of it, because, us as fans, don’t have the full grasp of what went on behind the scenes nor the gravity of how everything took place. Just know that none of this is your fault (because you sound really self accusing in the vid) and understand that you have to heal from this pain as much as everyone else that was spited and hurt. Also as a quick insert that you might/might not want to hear but I think is kind of important, adam-m. has been really caring for you and sending a lot of love your way too. He’s been defending you and trying to mend the relationship if you want to. From what’s been talked about it sounds like there was some kind of misunderstanding and he took accountability on his podcast vid and apologized for everything and anything he might have done. Lots of love and warm wishes your way.😊

@@thatworld5910 Her mom also let her be verbally abused by Abby Lee on Dance Moms. Not the best role model.

@@fluteloops22 it’s a job, many people do a lot to get good collabs/contracts, people have to go through horrible things and what you call “abuse” is not exactly what this word means imho. I do understand your concerns about jojos mental health etc but she is much happier than a lot of people her age are. Does not look like a person who knows what an actual abuse is. The only well known person I know who seems actually abused to me is Justin Bieber. He looks like his whole childhood was abuse the the majority of all his concerts, tours was around the time when he was just a teenager. People were harassing him, hating on him, kissing him, touching him all the time. And what we see rn is a forever depressed person. To me this is an abuse. Many fans are also “abuse” with their toxicity. “Cancel culture” is also abuse because it destroys mental health. But talking to a teenagers who love sex topics - not an abuse to me. Having a show - not an abuse to me.

I'm getting Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis vibes from Jojo defending Colleen throughout all of this, when they gave their character references to the Judge...... it feels as though she was feeling obligated and over a barrel to do this :( Completely agree with what you say about Grooming not being able to come back and they should not be allowed to be overlooked. It is disgusting and scary. Thank you for posting this

I've never been your fan, but I really like how you talk about this topic. Very straightforward and direct, but compassionate to the victims, even those who don't realise it yet❤

I admire you so much for speaking about this, especially because you are hesitant about getting into „drama“ due to the stress it can cause to your mental balance. Thank you, Trisha! ❤️🥰

Even your mannerisms and how you handle yourself is so different even from a year ago, it’s like you became the PTO mom who is at school meetings all the moms are jealous of in the blink of an eye. We are very proud of you

I didn’t use to watch you because of clips I’ve seen of situations where it felt like you were being very manipulative with gaslighting and guilting people. As someone who has been through years of therapy because of my own trauma, I just want to say it makes sense. Your previous behaviors compared to the way you carry yourself and evaluate your own feelings shows SO much hard work and effort from you to fight against the Trisha that the trauma created. So in case someone hasn’t said it lately, you’re doing amazing. Healing. Is. HARD. Your past is not your fault and your future is in your control. I am in awe of your passion towards this because I share it. I would wake up every single day looking for Colleen’s vlogs and it was a process letting that go because of habits. I can only imagine the level of this betrayal and confusion and every other emotion that you’re feeling. So yes, you’re doing amazing and you’re doing what you can with the information that you have and the cards that you were dealt. We don’t know each other, but asa trauma survivor I’m so god damn proud of you.
