Maybe it's because Abby acknowledged that Jojo handled it professionally. I mean, Abby trains the girls to do improv, and I only saw Jojo doing it in an actual situation. You can't help but admire her spirit.

Jojo was so professional, especially for a 12 year old. She didn't freeze, start crying onstage, run offstage, she didn't even let the audience know she forgot. I can't even tell when the real choreo stops and the improv beings. That's a real dancer.

it’s so weird how whenever one of them would forget their solos and just stand there, abby would get mad at them for not improving. but when jojo actually keeps going, abby’s like, “we wanted them to see OUR choreography” as if jojo decided to change up the choreo on purpose.

Jojo was very professional. A professional dancer wouldn't just leave the stage in the middle of a dance, and her improv suited the rest of the solo style, there were no awkward stops and she made it look as though it was the proper choreo.

I was highlighting the fact that even though Jojo responded to the situation in the best way possible, Abbey still had to reprimand and humiliate her in font of the whole team before finally giving her a hug (most likely because the cameras were there). Maddie on the other hand responding poorly to the same situation and Abbey immediately comforted her and didn't scold her in front of her team mates.

@Jillian Hortz being strict is absolutely fine, when I would teach clients and kids certain things I would be strict to, but there’s a difference between being strict and teaching in this case a child that not every response will be positive and being abusive, when the student is afraid that the teacher is going to be so angry that they’re crying and having an anxiety attack, that’s abuse

jess handled her daughter forgetting her dance better than most of the other moms ever did. instead of being mad and frustrated at jojo for forgetting, she was proud of her for improving and not running off the stage, and thought she did well in her dance anyway

The fact that she still went on and continued to dance and improv that well after forgetting and internally freaking out still really impresses me. At her age, at the time, I surely would have froze and embarrassed myself if I forgot the routine mid dance on stage.

I've noticed that every time a girl messes up her solo, she's more scared of how Abby will react then how they themselves feel. I feel like that speaks volumes about Abby's treatment.

I don’t think the strongest, she has some technical issues on an overall level and her releve could use some work, so while I don’t think she’s the strongest dancer, I certainly believe she’s one of, if not, the boldest out of all the dancers.

As much as everything that's going on with Jojo right now with her new music video that's getting a lot of hate, she was pretty professional in this clip. *No offense* but most of the girls would've just stood there or ran off stage but instead she didn't want to do that cause she knew like even if I don't place, I don't want to make it look like I forgot the dance.

Selma it’s not about being gullible. A lot of people don’t know or realize how editing really can manipulate an entire conversation or scene. Of course when you see and hear Jill say “if you do good this $20 is yours” you think she’s bribing her child. That’s not being gullible that’s literally just believing what we SEE
