So why haven’t they used AI for classical sounding musics, Mozart maybe? Any music that compels to an older audience, nothing. Instead, the creators are using AI to recreate only one genre of music. Why? Show us how broad AI really is and show country, Jazz, I heard Elvis was good. Why not recreate Elvis, Dolly, Kenny?

love my girl JoJo (stream good to know) but i think considering she fought for 7+ years for her legal right to commercially release music, her perspective is a little shocking? (she literally describes that time as not owning her voice). i understand the point she's making - "it's going to happen anyway so let's find a way to make it work for us as artists" but i think there's more likely to be an abuse of power that negatively impacts artists. especially in an industry that's already known for mistreatment of talent acts

I feel like JoJo was just trying to be nice and answer the questions in a very open ended and non combative way as to not offend the potential fan knowing all the while that this vid could be used to twist her words anyway. She’s been in the biz for a while, she ain’t stupid.

Its not the future. It may only lead to lawsuits. People claiming their likeness is being used for profit ect. The technology would be better served else where like humanoid robots creating their own voice or something else.

I find that interviewers BLATANT monopolization of JoJos time with fans invasive, and the line of questioning just goes on and on until she has to bounce to get away from HER!! Ask your question and move on. Taking away from her real fans by being THAT annoying interviewer who doesn't know when to SHUT UP. I'm actually embarrassed for that interviewer.

That's the dumbest thing she could have said because she literally makes her music in a more traditional way . She's not gonna understand what's going on until somebody makes 200 artificial JoJo songs and it starts to take money away from her annual income . To be honest, AI music is kinda cool. For example, Britney is on a hiatus but someone created an AI of her singing Genie in a Bottle. How cool is that?! It feels as though she's still recording even though she isn't. As for the money, that's a legal issue that studios, companies, record labels, and artists will have to worry about when the time comes. For now, it's free and fun to play around with. However, do support your favourite artists by streaming their official music, and purchasing merch and physical media.

@@IAMInnergy this USED to be the case. If they are on a label nowadays the labels are smart enough to make a part of the record contract a cut into that too as well. They get a percentage of all tours, ticket sales, merch sales, and even physical album sales made direct from the artist to the fan etc. Which is why an artist has charge $20 to $25 for signed CDs on the road. Up-sold to pay back the percentage to the label and so they themselves can make SOME money. 360 deal still includes promotion and physical distribution album sale printing etc. Trust and believe I know this is the case from working with and having friends in the business. Independent is WAAAAYYYY more work but you keep more. Label is less work but they keep part of everything and you owe them. They tell you when you can and can't put out music

@@IAMInnergy This is about AI... so what will happen when tech gets good enough for a label can send an AI program with highly sophisticated hologram or robotic tech to go and do your tour for you and pay them NOTHING because they don't have to? They sing like you, move like you, speak like you etc. What's the artist needed for? They wouldn't even need to provide food, lodging, flights, etc... they wouldn't even need you to record new music... they can have the AI do it in your manner. So, calling AI the future and supporting this is a grave mistake especially coming from JoJo who's an artist

@@IAMInnergy "why pay for ticket when all you can see is a screen" looool unless you have very expensive tickets that's all you ARE seeing now. Tech is not like that.... YET. But who knows 50 to 100 years from now? Only 20ish years ago fans were still paying for music. Buying whole physical albums. To downloading it for free or bootlegging from Napster etc. To only buying individual songs at 99 cents from iTunes instead of full albums in stores putting those out of business and less money for artists. Then, streaming came paying less than 0.00030 cents per play and at the same time we saw fans just preferring to get music free where ever possible... KZfaq. Now we are seeing fans asking for AI songs of Drake with this person and that person that he never made.... even dead artist. So, what's 50 years from now??? Who knows. But with videos like this... we are headed in the wrong direction.

She would sing the whole catalogue to you or your fam at a birthday party or wedding etc.... sing, dance, speak, talk etc and answer questions.... that's AI and the future.
