I loved the video! Since you are such a big fan of JoJo as I am, I really wanted to know if you liked both of the remakes of this amazing albums from my Teen years!

Javier Perez I did enjoy both of the remakes. I think her voice maturing benefited her in most aspects, but there were certain notes I missed, knowing that it wouldn’t be fair to expect her to still be able to hit them. Still, I was more than impressed by the vocals and how committed she was to going above and beyond the original versions. Those lows alone are everything. And the F#6 does sound like a whistle to me.

@@MrSkinnyJeanz3 yep! You are so right the fact that she hit like 3 F#5 and multiple F5 after her voice maturing and getting rounder and deeper is amazing and it just shows how great her tecnic is!!! I mean asking a mezzo that can go so low to a G#2 even if it is unsupported, to hit a F#5 is like asking a bass or baritone to hit a C5! It is posible but only threw tecnic or just screaming and pushing like a lot of artist do today 😂😂 JoJo is a queen! And I go as far to say that she could go head to head with the divas like Beyonce!

I feel like the G#6 is a true whistle cause of the quality of it is thin and toward the end of it you can hear the breathy quality of it is an exclamation, but the F#6 has me thinking a lot! I Mean it doesnt sound like a whistle! It almost sounds conected! But at the same time I can't help thinking it's probably a high pithed falsetto cause it doesn't sound full enough but it sound in someway full like it could be headvoice cause it is full enough but still don't know jajaja. Her headvoice is very very wide in range so it wouldn't suprise me that it is headvoice. Also the to little to late is headvoice.

I agreed. People said in the comments that she struggles a lot with her allergies so that explains the nasality.

She’s so nasal and she needs to open up her vowels cause everything just sounds constricted at the moment :(

It's normal. I mean, she sang those songs more than 10 years ago. Even then she would struggle a lot with her belts. And she's been singing for the majority of her life. The quality of her voice changed.

She’s a true mezzo soprano now, she used to be a high mezzo/soprano-ish during her early years.

Jojo and struggle don't belong in the same sentence when it comes to belts..

She was sick when re-recorded this album. But still better than most other singers.
