Farmed all those damned Ofudas in mementos just for this fight lol. Also, got a neat showtime at the end with the Yoshizawas dancing with the piano. felt nice dropping that move on the boss on beat :D
Welp, now to try the ultimate challenge and do it solo with Joker.
Fight is split in phases depending on lavenza's current health:
0:00 - Phase 1 (Elemental Damage Phase)
4:50 - Phase 2 (Technical Phase)
10:00 - Phase 3 (Critical Phase)
15:00 - Phase 4 (Final Phase)
20:00 - Perfect on beat Showtime Finish

It's always satisfying to finish this fight with a showtime attack; it's like the icing on the already delicious cake. I enjoy challenging Lavenza because the outcome is never a guarantee; I keep a save file when I get the urge to fight her for the fun of it and I'll freely admit that even with a working strategy, persona builds and party equipment, I've lost multiple times in a row when I got the third phase because I just couldn't land a critical hit to knock her down. I have some feedback, suggestions, etc. to give regarding damage output on showtime between Joker and Violet (or Joker and Crow). I apologize in advance if this knowledge is already known to you but in case it isn't, here goes: Showtime attacks can be greatly boosted by certain traits, passive skills,charge buff--because it's a physical almighty type move, and baton pass. Obviously, being under influence of Heat Riser and Lavenza being debilitated will make a noticeable difference as well. Even on higher difficulties, if you stack all those components together, you can do as much as 10,000 to Lavenza. The passives that boost damage output are Magic Ability, Almighty Boost, Almighty Amp, and Tyrant's Mind. So, if Joker is buffed with Charge +Heat Riser and Lavenza is debilitated with Satanael having Will of the Sword Trait and aforementioned passives, showtime will do 5,000 damage on a normal turn but if triggered when baton passed to him, it will do around 10,000 damage. Otherwise, great job beating Lavenza with two party members, I'm only good enough to beat her with a full party. She is the only one I can't beat solo; Margaret and the twins (Justine +Caroline) were easy enough but Lavenza has just too much of an edge over me.

Yeah always gotta finish big fights like these in style. Also, thanks for sharing about showtime damage. I was aware that showtimes let you deal the highest damage in the game (1M+ damage), but didn't really delve too deep into the matter. I wasn't aware though, that you can further increase damage with the almighty passives. Will definitely try to utilize this for future challenge fights :D

I have a good strategy on beating her solo with almost no rng at all if you aim for joker only after this. It needs to be tweaked a bit but its even possible at level 1 and no dlc at all is used

Why do Neo Cadenza and brave step only cost 24 and 16 sp?? That seems awfully low for such powerful skills. I swear i remember them costing a lot more

Hmm as far as I'm aware the only mod I used here was for Joker's midwinter outfit. Sumire is wearing the Starlight costume which should be a part of the DLC costumes you normally get in Royal. For the effects, not sure what you're referring to but as for the persona skills, well they're all just skills you can get normally via fusion/gallows/skill cards.

How come you don't switch out arahabaki lavenza nearly killed you in the 3rd phase because of your weakness lol

Oh, that's because in the 3rd phase of the fight lavenza will cast tetrakarn if she cannot target any weaknesses. If that happens, it's pretty much up to Sumire to land a crit or it's GG. Simply just minimizing the chances of that happening. Also, adverse resolve with vitality of the tree stack with apt pupil so chances to crit are waay higher with that persona.

@@vivid8979 Pretty much had rely on evade nuke/psy at least once on her two turns. If she has no debuffs or you have no buffs she will cast heat riser/debilitate instead of dekunda/dekaja as a follow up for hitting your weakness. If you get hit twice with atomic flare/psycho force, well let's just say you're using up a final guard/enduring soul/sumire save.
