This scene was already awesome as is but my starting line up for my team going in during the infiltration was actually Morgana, Ryuji and Ann so seeing those three jump out to land with Joker in the crossing was SICK AS HELL. The Phantom Thieves are back baby, and with some serious experience under their belts.

Arsene really knows how to get the fanbase (me especially). In persona, I kept him on me the whole game. Even when people said he was bad. I dunno but its nice seeing the original persona for the protagonists show up in cool scenes like this.

Depends in which Game. If It was in persona 5 or persona 5 royal then yeah, arsene was kinda bad. However in persona 5 strickers I am pretty sure Arsene learns the same amount of skills than party members, so It is much easier.

I still remember the first time I saw the scene of Joker breaking Arsene's chains, I had goosebumps. I am like you, I kept Arsene with me at all times, as bad as his skills are in P5/P5R, I got to hand it to him, his agility is ridiculous, I remember in my Arsene only run, Joker was always going first, even before I went heavy on using lockdown on him.

Possibly the greatest sequence I've ever seen in a video game. After playing P5R and it becoming my favorite game, seeing all the thieves come back almost made me cry. This was the most badass entrance any of us could've asked for.

Honestly didn't expect to love this game so much, sure there were some nitpicks and things they could have done way better for sure like with some plot things but it's such a great spinoff all things considered. Especially the combat. It feels a little wonky at first but they really do great in making it complex without making it too gimmicky. And NG+? They KILLED it! You get access to all party members from the start, the difficulty spike on merciless actually offers a challenge even if you think you've got a hang of the combat. It's also great to play as all of these thieves and actually move around and run with them. My favourite to play is definitely Joker, he's very stylish and flamboyant as usual, and the little visual effects they add to his dagger attacks? Perfection. Everyone feels different from each other gameplay wise for sure, if they'd make a sequel of this or remake for this for the Royal timeline would definitely buy it Day 1.

I love how this game USES the double-navigator thing that Persona sometimes rolls. True, Oracle is the MAIN navigator, but when she's busy hacking Mona takes over.

Man on merciless mode i almost die beating all the shadows i use Yoshitsune to defeat them all my health was 10hp at the end man what a hard thing to do

Me i use Alice and just did jump light heavy then dash and repeat Using mamudoon with mudo boost The best solution is like your yoshitsune method First charge, then use sleep inflicting like lullaby, then hassou tobi The first 2 skills you can put on another persona and just build yoshitsune to deal as much damage as possible by boosting him with needed passives Such as knockdown style, technical high and technical adept Maybe have a heat riser ready too if ever you need a buff

What was the point of this scene? The original game did it because it was its story device. The game started at that point and told its story in flashbacks justifying starting it in middle. This game doesn’t really have that.

Tutorial, while also giving the player the taste of whats to come without going to far in the story, making the player want more and want to see what leads up to this.

I get why you'd say that but lots of people don't really expect too much of a spinoff especially one that requires so many hours to complete. The phantom thieves always make a dramatic entrance too so it definitely helped build up anticipation and hype. From a technical standpoint it was a great combat tutorial as well. Imagine this is someone's first entry into the persona series, leaves a hell of an impression.
