Todd Phillips: It’s the police, ma’am, your son has been hit by a drunk driver. He’s dead. Society: NO NO NO NO!!! That’s not funny. Todd: Comedy is subjective. You decide what’s right or wrong just like how you decide what’s funny or not. Society: Not everyone is awful, Todd. Todd: But you’re awful. What do you get when you cross my Hangover 4 movie by abandoning it and treating 2&3 like trash? I’ll tell you what you get, you get what you fucking deserve. BANG!

Dude they could make a great dc universe, imagine it. They nailed Gotham City, had shown a great Joker with his background and his overall design, and simply mastered the Waynes. It can be easily expanded showing more to the Batman universe, their villains and the recruitment of his allies. Honestly do you want this to be a standalone movie and miss out on all of the opportunities? Or simply stick with the dceu... we all have a voice here.
@jacobsmith19304 жыл бұрын
Literally, if they do so, Todd Phillips has to be the main person to lead this universe. He is perfect for a live action dc comics universe.
@MrLegitMafia4 жыл бұрын
@@jacobsmith1930 i would rather this be a standalone movie that sticks to its narrative then them try to merge joker into a batman storyline that will most likely tear away the grittiness and emotion that made it so great, now don't get me wrong i would love a restricted batman movie but the amount of money they would be tossing out the window on families going to see it is unlikely.

Im DC`4`Life!! & am not easily pleased, This Film was close to perfection! perfection in the sense of an actual character 'study' (story of) the Joker. this is what it should've been! and Was! knowing that I can't imagine someone else playing (the man who "devolves" into what turns into being) -Joker, after seeing Phenix do it, it couldn't have been acted better by any actor alive, & that says everything! i think this 'phoenix' Joker has the same universe as ledger's one. which the time way before ledger's Joker meet Batman in TDK trilogy. so phoenix's Joker inspired another Joker in the future. imo, the reason this Joker movie has no & Will not have sequel. it's because this movie was telling a story' how the first Joker in 1981 was born in gotham. thats why this Joker wont meet batman, because Batman haven't born.

I really like the theory of him being in the asylum and remembering what “happened” in the movie but with his older self in it.. kind of like reliving the whole movie but with his old self. It doesn’t asnwer anything in regards to what happened or didn’t but I found it interesting how they referred to him as “kid” or boy.. when in reality he looked old asf. Not sure if that was just due to Joaquin being older and them not being able to conceal his age or BC he was genuinely younger when that memory took place. Happened twice.. when De Niro told him in his “fake memory” and when Wayne talks to him in the bathroom.... However, to be fair, those two moments of the movie are actually fake and never really happen. FORSURE the De Niro one and the other in the bathroom looks fake.. once he gets punched he leans over and the scene cuts to him being in his kitchen in the same position. Idk man GOOD MOVIE
