I actually really liked the design of the Joker here. Also appreciate that Young Justice barely used Joker and gave other villains a chance in the spot light.

Oh, so the Joker didn't shoot Barbara but the events that he caused lead up to her being paralyzed anyway.

Remember booster gold? Barbaras disability is an sure fire thing, just differs on the intensity There are things that cant be provented only can have the outcome be better or worse

I actually like the twist that it technically was the killing joke moment but a pleasant"subvert your expectations".

@@Wooreal23 There's no indication whatsoever that orphan ever ran into the bat family before. Not to mention that barbara is capable enough to block the blade, but she chose to shield joker instead ? It just feels that it was solely made to cripple batgirl in a couple of minutes with no character development at all. And after barbara became a cripple, she instantly develop a "deep sisterly bond" with orphan ? that's lazy writing imo.

Everytime I hear Brent Spiner Young Justice Joker speak, I keep hearing Data or his brother Lore from Star Trek the Next Generation. Which makes me think either Data is malfunctioning again or someone reactivated Lore.

I rather we see a bat family spin off from the young justice universe as this season is sub par at best if not for.the flashbacks adding more than genocidal martians and artimis talking like a nusery rhyme

This performance and writing for the joker has gotta be one of the weakest in awhile. He explains his wordplay, which the Joker should never do, his laugh is forgettable and he’s neither sinister nor entertaining enough. Joker is a showman and even when he’s doing horrid things, he’s still fun to watch. This scenario paralysing Barbara is also REALLY DUMB. And this is coming from someone who really doesn’t like the Killing joker, at least the parts concerning Barbara. I’m realising parts of YJ after season 1 aren’t so good. Season 4, and this especially, are some of them.
