蔡依林提到這次的專輯是她探索自我的過程中所挖掘到的關於情緒的概念所激發的靈感，這次的專輯是在探討人的黑暗的那一面，學會接納自己的各種情緒，並且在理解自我的黑暗面之後成長(而非一開始就全然掩蓋自己的黑暗面)，這也是為什麼這張專輯的歌曲會有較多的黑暗元素，#UglyBeauty 多經典的一張專輯。

故事時序: 1-小S故意留下蔡送他的髮簪，為了要引蔡出來親眼看老公的背叛，被自己勾引成功，就是普遍小三嗆正宮的優越感 2-所以後來老公找蔡好時，就是抗拒的那段暴力床戲，導演要表達蔡內心對背叛這事的憤怒 3-小S是閨密不是妹妹，不是丫鬟 4-小S若在此片發聲，不會加分，反而網友容易跳戲 5-這片內地聽說最近被禁播，所以知道又看的懂得人不多，但這真的拍得很好

❤❤Jolin Tsai is an amazing artist, with a full knowledge of what she wants to present in her scenes. The accuracy of this sad circumstance often occurs in royal arranged marriages, the challenge of a close friend that knows her weakness and exploits her generosity. Often well disguised revenge is sadly the fruit, that makes this judgement for the violation of friendship. An echo of 'I like it red', ends the violation rightly, for the pain of distrust, treachery, and adultery.
