Carl Weathers is an American FBA actor and former professional football player. He was born on January 14, 1948, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Weathers is best known for his roles in several iconic films and TV series:
Apollo Creed in the "Rocky" film series - Weathers portrayed the charismatic and formidable boxer who becomes a close friend of Rocky Balboa.
Dillon in "Predator" - He played a tough CIA operative alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Chubbs Peterson in "Happy Gilmore" - He played the golf coach with a comedic touch.
Greef Karga in "The Mandalorian" - He portrays a leader of the bounty hunters' guild in the Star Wars TV series on Disney+.
Before his acting career, Carl Weathers played professional football. He was a linebacker for the Oakland Raiders in the NFL and later played for the B.C. Lions in the Canadian Football League (CFL). His transition from sports to acting has made him a memorable figure in both fields.
