I love that Colbert is willing to share the spotlight with Batiste. This is the only late night show I know of that actually shows off its musicians and makes them an active part of the show. I never realized how talented and accomplished Batiste and his band were until Colbert began involving him in his videos. Never would have known that he went to Juliard and got a masters in music. Damn!

Jon is awesome but 90% of the time we don't see him, we just hear his laughter, even when the computer is off and I'm trying to sleep his laugh echoes. I lock the doors and windows but i can always hear him.

I like how they're starting to use John the right way. Instead of trying to fill him into a traditional sidekick role like Andy richter and riffing with the host, they're using his big personality instead of trying to stifle it. It's not often that a sidekick has a bigger personality than the host, but John does and when they use him well it's great. (Plus: stay human has the best music of any late night band).

And I'm here just just wanting to learn the piano intervals/tunes/chords he was playing when announcing the lessons especially lesson 3 oh my xD
