I find the stage is beautifully designed but somehow it doesn't quite suit this game. It's too slick and shiny for this particular game. The brightness is distracting and draws attention to itself. Since the game is about developing connections with your partner, the lower key and warmer set designs when this first started out seemed more appropriate. It allowed the players to be the focus. Now it seems like they're competing against the set design for attention.

To me, this set conveys a sense of urgency. It would be well-suited for a game in which players are in direct competition to do something immediately faster than their opponent, like hitting a buzzer first. Password seems less about expediency than about the quality and precision of the delivery. It's almost a bit like the mental version of curling where you have to aim accurately, then release, and hope that it lands in your partner's mind.

When it's hosted by Higgins with Jimmy and Quest or Tarik and the show guests are the contestants it's great. With this host and members of the public as contestants - no thanks.
