Videos like these highlight why I want to believe in the world of fantasy. I know the world can be cruel, harsh, and lacks the magical/supernatural elements that a fantasy world has. I think we all yearn for the supernatural like dragons and dire wolves to be real, but yet we come to accept that we must create our own fantasies or interpretations of fantasy. To higher life forms out in the universe, the human race may seem small among the cosmos. Chances are we actually are very small. And even if that's the case, that the universe may mock us for our narrow-mindedness, we are guilty of nothing more than being the total sum of our evolutionary parts. Even in this small fragment of time of our existence on this earth, we can strive to live for something. Even if it amounts to nothing for the rest of eternity, we can be inspired to be the best of ourselves through each other. Jon and Dany's story, their destiny to meet, is a story woven by a handful of people no better aware of their place in the universe than ourselves. Their road to each other is every expression of humanity's wonder, and the capacity for the supernatural to be real, that 2 people should find each other, and create the most powerful, fragile, stubborn, serene, and inspiring of human compulsions. It is this compulsion that enables us to carry on as a species. This compulsion drives us to be better. It is for this I feel empowered, and that I can continue to hope for the supernatural, like we have seen in the world of Ice and Fire, to one day exist. Jon and Dany's coming together, their Hurricane, and what I choose to live for. Love.

Years of watching this series I never would've expected that Game of Thrones will have an epic and beautifully-crafted lovestory but then Season 7 happened and 21 years (book) and 7 years (show) of waiting for ice and fire to get together and it was worth the wait. And I've always thought that Daenerys and Jon's union would be more political and love will jist come after because of trust and mutual respect but then looking back at their journeys - all the parallels and such - made me realized A Song of Ice and Fire is actually a lovesong! Beautifully-made video btw :)

When I watch this, I see the mistakes of Season 8. And I see what it should have been when watching this. Jon and Daenerys’ romance maybe tragic but not in the way that it turned out in the show. With that said, great job on the video. Love it!

I was talking a friend of mine who felt like their relationship was forced. I didn’t agree with her, I said, maybe a little rushed, but I don’t think forced is the right word. There’s a tension between them - at least that’s what I feel. Stubbornness. Admiration. Respect. This song and compilation of scenes explains their relationship best.
