I’m a Flyers fan through and through. But I really hope that the blues end up winning the Stanley Cup. I can’t stand the Bruins. And Craig berube should win coach of the year. No matter what happens. He was the best. Going to that organization halfway through the year. When they weren’t doing well. And turning things around for them. It is almost unheard of.

As far as I can recall, there was only one other situation which could be similar - that was in 1914, when the Boston Braves were under manager George Stallings - he remarked that you could give him a team of mediocre quality, and if he could get them in the right frame of mind, this team could beat the World Champions. Stallings did just that - on July 4, 1914, the Braves were dead last in the National League, and then he was able to get his team to operate in this "right frame of mind"; when the season was over, the Boston Braves were the World Champions! Stallings was called "the Einstein of Baseball" - but his true nickname was "The Miracle Man".

I can't believe so many blues "fans" don't realize they made the finals in their first year of existence- 67-68 and lost. They made in 70 yes got swept Bobby orr blah blah but they made it 2 years before too. Just can't believe they don't know this
