It's amazing how this song, without any lyrics, can tap into such deep sadness. I just love this guy. Perhaps it is the honesty with which he sings.
@YGODeckDoctor7 жыл бұрын
Music is a universal language, it doesn't need to make sense, all i know is that certain melodies/keys and chords can tap into peoples emotions and pull on heart strings, Lisa Gerrard's music does this for me aswell alot of her vocals are in a made up language yet she has this way with the way she sings in certain tones/melodies and chords that hit you deep. Another song i think that reinforces my thinking is Adagio for strings, constantly voted the saddest music ever. Because of the chords melodies and tones of the music. Powerful

+BrooklynRider - Yea, you are right... I think it's the honesty where it reaches our Hearts :D. Very few can get me to that place. I keep it hidden well :D Got me too :(((((((((((((( This should be in a Movie :D

it does have lyrics, even though its very repetitive. and yes, the way he sings makes you feel it even though you dont understand the words..

that is not the actual lyrics.

The sadness in this song is so heart wrenching with the wind blowing into his hair, transporting him back into the point where a goodbye was a must say, and reconciliation with everything around him for him to move on. The rawness of his voice, breaches the 2 realms, the steady beating of the drum, pushes the river to keep flowing, breathing life into the soil it touches, giving life to the spirits that drink from it ... fly fly fly up into the skies, yes ... it's sad ... hope it doesn't swing him into depression, coz I might just be ... sigh
@jamesweeg65455 жыл бұрын
Gerald Lee I agree....the fabric is stretched thin between here and there while he is singing.

Take from this the beauty and heartfelt sounds. Let it take you from. Sadness to a thankfulness for not what we have lost but for what we have and what we will again have. I miss you Christopher murray my darling husband. Till we meet again I will live knowing I have a love many wish for. I hope this kind of love for everyone.... It withstands even death. I send my love and open my heart to everyone who is dealing with loss and everyone who is looking for love.

This is what music is all about. Moving people and feeling it. You don't need a stage full of half naked dancers to entertain. If the music is good people will be entertained and moved even without any stage props. Btw, i love this guy. So sincere and heartfelt. I felt every single note he was singing and was crying like a baby. Thank you Jon.

He has such a beautiful voice. =) I am in Canada but I do have family who are up north in Northern Lapland who take care of the reindeer there. His friend would be proud of him. =)
@cinnireseisri8 жыл бұрын
+Malodie Tchapko I guess that "Laplander" is a derogatory term. I don't know why, but I know they prefer to be called Sami. You're right though, that voice. I'm jealous. I wish I could sing like that. You can see and hear the love in that song. I don't even know the guy and I'm proud of him. He still has a lot of humility and sincerity when he sings. You know he is grateful to his friend for his success, and is proud of his Sami family. What a wondrous world we live in, were a young Colombian boy is adopted by a Sami family where he would face harassment growing up and where this friend of his would then pass on and he would write a song to sing to us for his friend Daniel and we could have the privilege of hearing and understanding something that we know almost nothing about. Pretty amazing. I'm happy to be alive to witness this.

Do you go with me yet, my dear friend, Though I no longer see you? Are you still here on earth, So as you remain in my heart? I lie there and brood, It is desolate quiet around me. Tears break out and fall, I thought of you. An angel here was forgotten , Have now got his wings. Where do you fly now, my angel? Where do you fly now? Do you fly through the gates of heaven? Or to the end of the world? Are you are flying next to me? Or am I alone now? Where you now are, my friend. Wherever the road takes you. Promise me you'll wait there, Until I meet you. I hope you're happy now. So as I was with you. And the pain you have suffered, I hope it is forgottenFloat freely, my dear friend. You are free now. And until we meet again, Farewell, my angel.

Do you go with me yet, my dear friend, Though this is the last time I see you, there will no next time. Cause you will be cremated, and come back to mother earth! It means; I no longer see you? Physically but not mentally my dearest friend! Are you still here on Earth? Hey, please talk me, Paw? So as you always remain in my heart? I lie there, walk on that path and Im looking back, The whole world is shutting down, it is desolated quiet around me, Tears are bursted and fallen, The river of memories just rushes out, and there is a flash! I thought of you, the angel has been forgotten, Have you got your wigs yet? Can you take me with you? Where you heading, Paw? South East or North West? I will follow you, As life is tasteless without my best friend! Amigo, where are you flying? where is your destination? Do you fly to the gate of heaven? Or you will fly with me to the end of the world? Will you be flying next to me, my brother? Or Am I alone now? there're no more journeys? Donde esta, Amigo? Wherever the road takes you, the intersection of our different lifes, Promise me you will wait for me, Until we shall meet again?! I hope you are happy now, No worries, no doubts, But dont you worry about me! I will live your path, I will keep your legacy; forever inspires! Yet, as I will be uniqued with you, The pain you've suffered, now shall split in two. As you're always watching me, from heaven and earth, So now , here I am, Let do it again, as good as oldoodies times! The Agony that you have, I hope it will be forgotten, Float freely my friend, the freedom is yours! Untill we met again, last farewell, my angel.

Kram......
