Real loss to the world of Classic rock - what a fantastic Hammond player he was. What an inspiration he was to all rock fans and musicians. His Tunes will stay with us forever.

I was just watching this video last night and enjoying Jon Lord's quick wit and humor at the beginning of this video. Today I found out that he has passed away. Rest in Peace Jon Lord. This man hugely impacted my guitar playing. Every bit as much as Ritchie Blackmore. So sad to be in a time when legends are leaving us. R.I.P. Jon Lord.

Doogie White is a real good singer. Whatever the piece is - he nails it!

+Andy Mangele Do you think Ritchie should've enlisted him for the June concerts? At least I thought so throughout the end of 2015, when speculation was rampant
@AndyMangele8 жыл бұрын
Hard to tell - because Ronnie Romero is one helluva singer too! :)
@ushrit8 жыл бұрын
You're right about that, although one has to get used to the enunciation. Otherwise he is a great singer, with an impressive stage presence

+Shridhar G S And damn close to Dio at times! :)

@@AndyMangele I'm not a huge fan of Romero, not what I had heard anyway. He's nowhere near Dio, Graham Bonnet, JLT, Gillan, Coverdale, Hughes or even Doogie on their best days. Just my opinion though.

Is there any footage of the Church show Jon did with Jorn Lande in Norway ?

No disrespect to the bongo player, but this video really shows just how vital Paicey was to Purple's sound.
