superpowers 75 That is what I did when Trump got elected. I prepared myself with a glass of water, and pretended to be shocked by the inevitable news, spitting out all the water I held in me mouth, plus some more... And I also dropped and broke the glass for extra effect. PS - I had to clean up later. Unlike these two who don't have to do it themselves. That wasn't fun.

Just Another Human Not 100% sure how daily night shows work but I'm guessing there's an initial script with prompting to help hosts, while hosts in turn are supposed to improvise whenever possible if script or prompts don't seem to work for whatever reason. In this particular case, Stephen was sticking too much to the prompt where Jon may have missed his cue. In other words, it was a disaster and Stephen+Jon gave 0 fucks.

J Servin Easy, it's halfway in-between 'expecting' and 'not expecting'*. Basically he wasn't fully expecting that to be the result, but at the same time was considering it as the most likely possibility. *'not expecting' not 'expecting not' is an important distinction, the former being a lack of expectation, being a '.5' on a gauge of the likelihood of something with the latter being closer to a '0'. On this scale, 'half expecting' would actually be around a 75% perceived chance, which is a rather important factor.

I was rolling my eyes SO HARD at 'tie-land' but then Jon came up and like... yeah, those are complete bros. Like Finn and Poe type of bros. Bros that get married and have bro-kids.

It's awesome to see these two together again. ^_^ As someone who wears glasses myself, my first thought after Stephen's spit take was, "Uh-oh, take your glasses off, Stephen!" I about died when Jon poured the mug on the glasses *and* spit on him (and damaged Stephen's microphone). Wet glasses are a pain to dry off, though.

Been watching/rewatching Jon, Stephen & Conan's videos, including all of Jon's appearances on Stephen's show. Refreshed homepage after six hours, and this one came up! Can't describe how happy I am right meow! 😍
