This song reminds of the pain and anxiety that so many young adults suffer from. As someone who can relate to this song, Kagen does an excellent job portraying the emotions of someone who had been emotionally abused and is silently calling out for help. I wish all who read this the best.

I just heard this song in a movie, and it tore my heart. We lost our daughter at age 16, and I know she would have identified with this music. She was so full of life but must have felt so alone. For anyone hurting and hiding it, you are not alone, and it is okay to not be okay. Please keep trying because you are worth it, you matter, and you are loved. Thank you for the song, as it hit a chord in my soul while on my own journey, too. May God strengthen and bless all who read this. ❤️

I am 69 yrs. old and for the first time I have actually listened to a song that hits every feeling of depression and the emotional drain it brings. I have suffered from chronic depression at a very early age and my first attempt at suicide was when I was 13 yrs. old. It was my first but not my last attempt. Luckily I was such a dumb ass and never succeeded. I posted your song on my facebook page and opened up to many friends that never even knew of my illness because I become quite the actor when I am around others. I have had to cut many friends and family members out of my life because they would feed off my depression and take advantage of me. I cannot thank you enough for this song and bringing true feelings to the public. Just listening to it has given me a great deal of relief and comfort so thank you again. I understand how you feel. I may not be chronically depressed, but I seem to be just chronically sad. I lost my best friend, the love of my life...and for a while I blocked it out. I lived as though a huge part of me hadn't died. And one day, it all came just pouring out. I can't talk to the people I'm close to about it. They wouldn't understand. So I try to keep pushing forward even as every night, in the dark, quiet hours, my heart breaks, again...and I spend time sobbing over my loss...again. If you ever need to talk to someone who'll understand... I'm here. I may not know why you feel the way you do, but I DO understand the feelings. And I do understand the pain.

This song was recommend to me after I had my long-time partner phoning to say he wishes me that my illness'll have a new treatment soon and he's always praying that my pain in hands and knees'd go away. I was listening to JP Saxe "Like That " and then this song. Outside it's raining and I think I can feel more calmness inside me before going to the hospital.
