Beide Sänger sind die besten in ihrem Fach, wobei Kaufmann die bessere Ausdruckskraft hat, er braucht am Ende nicht schluchzen, um Emotionen zu wecken!

Domingo hatte immer eine schlechte Technik aber Kaufman hat leider keine!! Ich habe ihn einmal in München gehört und war total katastrofal.Seine Stimme nicht gut gelauft wurde und niemanden die hinten 4 Reihe (ihn) gut hören kann. Wie Sachausoieler ist Ok! Das ist meine Personalice Meinung. Entschuldigun für meine Deutsch!!! Es gib viel zeit ,dass ich nicht auf Deutsch Schreiben .

@@rafaelalvarez6749 wer ein bisschen was von Gesangskunst versteht, der weiss das Kaufmann eine hervorragende Technik hat! Seine Atemtechnik ist einmalig, nur wenige Sänger haben so einen langen Atem! Außerdem ist sein wunderschönes piano auch nicht zu verachten!

@@christinewunder18 I am sorry I also agree that Placido Domingo does not have superb vocal techniques, but Kaufmann is just even worse. I mean I don't hate Kaufmann. After all, he's one of the most celebrated tenors now. I truly believe that he has good stage presence and he is at least more decent than most other tenors. But I have too many issues with his vocals. Kaufmann's voice is very unnatural. His timbre is ultimately a lyric one but he was trying to be more dramatic so he was deliberately making this bigger voice by pushing his larynx down. In opera singing, the position of your larynx should be lowered naturally. If you are pushing it down it's not good for vocal health. The result is that he sounds like he choked on his tongue. By doing this he sounds richer, more dramatic and more "baritonal". But the bad thing is that your vocal cords will lose its elasticity, and as a result, you could not sing without this unnatural method, which does further damage to your vocal cords. It's very bad for your vocal health. Kaufmann already suffered some conditions on vocal cords and stopped singing for a while on doctor's orders. Besides, this method also makes him almost inaudible in the theatre because it obstructs the passage of your voice. If you like Kaufmann's voice, it's fine, but don't imitate his method if you are a singer yourself. Now let's talk about Placido Domingo. In this 1976 production of Tosca, he sang beautifully and did not have any vocal issues. It's his best vocal form. He was an excellent tenor especially in his earlier years. He was fantastic in other recordings, such as La Forza Del Destino. If you tell me that the tenor is Corelli, I would actually believe what you said. He was really as good as Corelli in some of his earlier recordings. But normally, PD was nasal and wobbly. He was strained in the passagio and higher register. And the strain ultimately ruined his high notes. He had some good HighCs in his earlier years and then he didn't. But other than that, he didn't have major vocal flaws. He was not singing unnaturally by choking on his tongue and making his voice richer and more dramatic. He is a natural lirico spinto with a warm, richer timbre. This is part of the reasons why PD can still sing now in his 80s. (Yes he's a horrible "baritone" now but the timbre of his voice still sounds decent, and he does not sound like someone in his 80s at all.)
