dire Jonas Kaufmann e attraente vuol dire non vedere !mal curato .la voce urla solo se deve cio dobrebbe cantare non e nemeno bello . da una vita (ho 76 anni)il mio piu grande amore il belcanto e lirica. j.k mai mi piacuto.proprio perche ho preso molti dvd suoi.ma sentoto solo una volta .ho sentito tutti m.del monaco il divino Corelli etc qesr cantante tanto presunzioso con qest ha lavato il cervello a qelle persone .la voce peggiora solo ha un massa nella gola in tedesco :Knodel marta darday

Oh man, is there anything in the tenor repertoire that Jonas Kaufmann cannot do? I just looooove how he's always full of creativity and whatever language/repertoire he is singing in, there's always a deep artistry behind his incredible voice and technique.

La vida me ha dado el placer de ser contemporánea de Jonas Kaufmann y poder disfrutar sus distintas etapas. Creo que nada es gratis y sus grandes logros artísticos se deben a su dedicación al estudio, trabajo, esfuerzo, unido a una hermosa coloratura de voz, simpatía personal y mucho feeling. Fantastic! I've seen him in the theater many times, but he hasn't been performing in the States lately. I visited the Garnier in Paris, and my eyes almost popped! Incredible theater. I saw Gluck's Alceste.

Dave Glo His performance on the CD is wonderful. My friends in Montreal are still hoping he will keep his promise to perform there after his cancellation 5 years ago especially since his mastery of French repertoire is exceptional. Thanks for your interest in the world of opera.

I have been enjoying the L'Opera CD ever since it arrived last August. I never get tired of it. Thank you Mr. Kaufmann!! (I love your duets with Mr. Tezier!!) I have everything you have ever recorded, and I don't know which is my favorite - In the past I've said the Salzburg Don Carlo and the Met Parsifal - they are still my strong favorites. But L'Opera is quite close to them.

Beautiful singing full of nuance and coloration, text clearly offered, revealing emotions within each piece - all standard expectations for Kaufmann's work. Azt hittem már a csúcson van és ezután már semmi újat nem fog mutatni. De nem így történt , nem tudom hogyan csinálja , de mindig új és új ugyanaz a dal. Más és más előadás . Egyszerűen egy csoda , nem lehet betelni vele ! Köszönöm szépen!!!

Jonas is not only ultra-talented but also fiercely intelligent. The latter he applies when preparing for a role. He absolutely always knows and understands exactly his subject matter/role and how to interpret it - Therein lies his uniqueness. Couple such an academic approach with passion and a wonderful voice and you've got the makings of a truly great artist. Thank you for posting.

Actually, Re: "The Phantom of the Opera", Really first was the silernt version starring "The Man of 1000 Faces", Lon Chaney! In the meantime, thank you for "The Pearlfishers" duet!
