The Saints are told in Revelation to have patience as the enemy advances over them with God power intact. The enemy advanced over the first believers after Jesus acenssion in the form of Nero. Even now in this generation. God may laugh at the enemies arrogant folly, but in no way laughs over his children's pain or destruction. His heart aches with our own as a Father weeps over his children. He provided a way of escape in his only beloved son Jesus. The enemy has no love for God, nor the things of God and seeks to destroy all that is of God. He is fierce with anger because his time draws short. Will this generation suceed in driving back the enemy or will they fall? Is this the generation of believers that is carried away? Will we rise up to the challenging times ? Only God knows. But the signs Jesus spoke of are here, but only God knows the day and hour. The encouragement of fighting against powers and principalities is strongly encouraged at all times until we see him face to face. God may laugh at their folly, but he strongly encourages us to fight the good fight. The altar of abortion is horrific. I've actually went back and watched Jonathon's words about his book being finished on the day the Supreme Court ruled. He said he knew had to write this book and when the altar of abortion fell through the Supreme court's decision to turn a bad decision around to a right decision, he said he took it as a sign he was doing the right thing. The context of his words in no way show he feels his book brings the change. But rather it's just a wake up call to other believer's to be united in prayer. There's nothing wrong with encouraging people to pray and ask God to drive the demonic entities out of the West or this.country. For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son to save those that believe, that repent from wickedness. That in order to stand up for God, and be effective we have to clean our own spiritual heart. There's nothing wrong with this. With great power comes even greater responsibility. You can't tell someone to believe in and forsake sin unless your willing to do it yourself. Sin feels good for season. But sin full measure also causes death. Whether the Lord allows the enemy to be prevailing or not. We are still commanded to fight for the day, so that salvation is fulfilled in as many as possible.
