Haha ,as a Turkish who doesn't believe in such bullshit, i admit that is a nice one. Though, the case is kinda funny, too: TUR: There was war. People killed each other. Calling it a genocide is an overstatement. And Armenians lived in this land for cenutries so did we decide killing them out of the blue? ARM: The Genocide happened. TUR: Fair enough. Let's investigate each others' archives so we can see if we find anything proves either of us' point. ARM: No. TUR:Then, genocide didn't happen. This conversation has been a loop for a while. And most ridiculous part is yet to come: They claim 2 million Armenians died. But according to Armenian Patriarchate there were 1 million Armenian living in Anatolia at the time. Whenever I recall this, it gives me a couple of chuckles. :)

If you tried using those excuses to any competent prosecution all they'd do is switch to whatever evidence they have to call you out on (after all, you wouldn't be in court if they didn't have any evidence would you?) The playfully smug satisfaction which comes with confirming/denying the truth of a story which the storyteller knew from the start unlike those listening, delivered with the characteristic tone and restrained grin of such statements, is vicarious/contagious like laughter. His tone also signals the relief of some anticipatory, 'holding-your-breath' tension arising from the uncertainty of truth, which could also be vicariously satisfying in the hypothetical, invested viewer's point of view. Finally, rapid, sudden repetition of short disconnected clips/phrases is absurd and thus funny, especially when each individual clip/phrase conveys the same basic meaning (Jonathan Frakes smugly saying 'pranked ya lol' to you while suggestively looking at/approaching the camera with a restrained grin) in slightly different ways. Trust me, I have a PhD in Internet Armchair Psychology and Humorology. Thank you for coming to my TedX Talk.
