I recently read the accolades that Michelle Pfeiffer gave of working together on a movie, several yrs ago. Jonathan played her oldest son. Michelle Pfeiffer commented as well, as it seemed so natural being a mom with a son that their chemistry was just there!!!!

I KNOW, I SO wish that Jonathan Jackson does come back to GH to reprise his role!!!! It's written that they purposely didn't kill his character off hoping he would reprise it again!!! To me, Lucky played by Jonathan Jackson is Elizabeth's true love!!!! All the others pale in comparison.

Can they just fricken give Lucky and Liz the happy super couple ending they deserve and have them walk off into the sunset.

He does do that, but he doesn't always thank Genie. Sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn't. But, I do believe he is grateful for her mentorship.

@@angelablackmore9218 That's a real possibility, but she had such an influence, I thought he still might throw her name out there. But, I know he is extraordinarily grateful for having her as a mentor, so I didn't think it was a snub. He's never seemed like that kind of guy.

Who knows, Jonathan did thank her in his speeches. When he won in 2011 and 2012 Genie wasn't on the show at the time so that's probably why he didn't thank her during those acceptance speeches.

The first time he won as a very young man, he was so overcome with emotion he simply pointed to Genie and Tony and said, “I want to thank them,” with his voice shaking. And perhaps you don’t remember that Genie wasn’t on as long as Jonathan and Tony were, so not every year he won was a year that Genie was in the cast at the time.

When Tony won his first Emmy in 1982 he thanked Genie and said half of it was hers so at least then he knew he wouldn't have won it without her

I believe Anthony Geary (Luke Spencer) has the most wins for a soap actor. He won 8 daytime emmys.

I know Jonathan has stated that he would not audition for roles that glorified certain behavior, but was not afraid to play characters whose beliefs were different from his own. Whether his beliefs have cost him roles who knows. But he seems very content with the choices he's made. He has a wife and 3 kids and a love for God that probably mean more to him than any movie role. Did you know he lives in Ireland now? I would love to see him back on GH to have more scenes with Genie Francis. Because when he returned for a few episodes in 2015, he didn't have any scenes with just Genie and him after 16 years of not sharing the screen together.

@@crystalsnow1138 Wonder why he moved to Ireland. Things aren't going too well there, with all the covid restrictions. It's worse than many states here.

@@ellyreginald6546 I'm not too sure. I have read that he moved to Ireland to help support a new monastery being founded by the Romanian Orthodox Metropolis of Southern and Western Europe. So I don't know if he's going to live there permanently or not. Plus he's always loved visiting Ireland. I've also seen an interview with him recently where he stated he's open to returning to General Hospital.
