Yes, it is a shame we have to go way back to when a man's heart was starving and gave the preaching of God's word that was giving to them. These days Hollywood has taken a lot of these men into the money pit, and the holy spirit is no longer seen in the speech!

On June 8 2005 I completed 24 week's of training from the Amen ministry at the Potter House.I soon became a ordained minister in 2010.Today I'm Pastor n Founder of New Life Global Ministry and Pastor at Bright Way Adult Center in Houston Tx.Thanks Pastor Jake's n the Amen ministry it saved and changed my life.God is good Amen thanks love Pastor Will lol.Remember God hides who he love he is getting ready to use you.

I 1st saw TD Jakes at a friends house in 1993 when he preach(He loved me enough to be late) on VHS. I was blown away and been a fan since.

Beverly Huttinger Absolutely and it’s a shame, because when we’re not at Church we cannot find one Channel that has a True Messenger from God. Bishop Jakes is a true messenger,yet he lacks the fire he had in the past. All not just some Bishops should Preach and Teach in the Spirit ... Amen

The way he preaches today, you can just HEAR the Wisdom that God has given him. Nobody stays the same throughout their lifetime.

Dez Obviously only one! But we must be Christ like,correct? Jesus Christ [the same] yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Jakes is not the same and it’s quite unfortunate. He can’t see it nor does his followers. There’s no fire nor power in that Church.The only time his congregation roars is when prosperity is mentioned!💯🤨🤔 Witchcraft is working! I felt it and prayed and asked The Lord to free him. But Jakes has got to WANT to be free from the spell... God Bless him and if it is His will Bishop Jakes will Preach again! Amen

all I know is, when I used to think these main stream preachers were a joke, or just "using people for money" I realized that it kept me away from God. It was the Devil, keeping me away from the word. That's my experience anyway.

Dez God Bless You Dez. If you know nothing of the Word , then how can you defend yourself? This is why I fight so hard for Bishops, Apostles,Saints and friends to Preach Jesus! Not about getting material things! Preach God’s Words and you cannot fail ! They’re steering people in the wrong direction. The Bible is a guide for the lost and a keeper for the saved. Bishop Jakes (use to be )a Bible Bishop. Again God Bless You .

This is my favorite oldie because at the time frame 39:5 - 40:5 Bishop told some funny jokes and his mannerisms and the crowds response to his joke was priceless! Oh the days of innocence! God bless Bishop Jakes!

This was one of the first TD Jakes messages I saw when I got born again in 2003. Was on VHS tape and it has been such a blessing all these years. The original title was "An invitation to the cross" if I am not mistaken.
