The anointing is missing in the church today now it's all about self self selfishness and favoritism I miss the true anointing the days of old has vanished because of what the new leadership in the church has programed us how to be like and worldliness has stepped in so anything goes nowadays we need to go back to the altar and tarry for the Holy Ghost again like we really use to do the early 2000s still had that same fire things just changed over the years especially in the late 2000s look at where we are now but this right here is awesome I love true praises from God's people

I see people keep talking about what the "CHURCH" used to be like...if "we" are the church, then the fault is in "us"!!! Where have "we" His people failed Him?!! Why are "we" not doing what the saints of old did to keep the spirit of GOD alive, flowing and moving in us?!! Lord help us!!!

Mother Biddy reminds me of Mother Estella Boyd! The church must get back to this kind of power! Today the church is full of flesh with no demonstration of the true power of GOD!

The difference between then and now...the old saints would fast and pray for weeks at a time leading up to the convocation. Now the church will eat a whole steak dinner and dessert before service and wanna try to usher in the holy spirit and lay hands on folk smh. We miss the old church but what are we doing to keep the old church alive? We were trained the right way of doing things but somewhere we lost sight of true holiness and sanctification. What it really means to be holy ghost filled and fire baptized. Get right church!!

I really missed the true old fashioned holy ghost church whether it be Pentecostal or apostolic we just can't find it again it really breaks my heart to see what the church turns out to be today.

It’s amazing how people make comments about the church then vs now. We are the church now. If the church is Lukewarm- we / you and I commenting in KZfaq are also Lukewarm. What are WE doing now. Are we making comments and criticizing but not praying and lifting the church up in prayer. In the day - They also prayed and lifted the people before God to Touch, Heal and Deliver. Church is not a show - it is a place in which we all contribute to the service. This is applicable to ALL Denominations. Submit ourselves under the mighty hand of God. He has not changed - WE have changed. I chose to pray and ask God for his help as my comment and criticism is producing absolutely nothing.

But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. 6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.

In the Apostle Paul’s day prostitutes and loose women didn’t cover their heads. Essentially he was teaching his spiritual children in Corinth that after they were converted and now to the level of prophesying they should do so looking like respectable women. I think you would agree that Mother Brimm does not look like a loose woman or a prostitute while she was praying, yes or no?
