I'm so happy you went to see him in concert! It's really sweet being able to watch you get more and more into his music over time. I have been listening to NF since 2014-2015ish and this tour was my third time seeing him in concert. Love seeing his music spreading and gaining traction! He's been so underrated in the past and is finally gaining the recognition he deserves!

Yes! Another great reaction of NF! I really like your reactions. While other people react on the beat and raps, you do that, and react on the cinematic views of it.

NF is one of my favorites. Have you heard of a band called Sabaton? The way they film their music videos they're like little movies. So sabaton song 1916 I think you might enjoy it.

It's a run down amusement park. You can see the turnstiles in the beginning as he is approaching and it cuts to him inside and you can see them more clear behind him Later in the video you can see the roller coaster in the background Amusement Parks are known for fun, adventure, childhood. I see the video as his reflection on the world around him (thru his lens) while all the voices in his head are weighing him down. He moves the cart faster in the beginning, than later his fans are helping push the cart and by the end of the video he is almost dragging it. Weight from his burdens that he wants to just Leave Him Alone

Thank you so much for bringing your personal experience into this song. It dabbles in a few topics but I honestly think "Leave Me Alone" is a song that really centres around Nate's OCD, especially as he discusses the balloons - his doubts ("fill balloons up full of doubt") - in the hook. As you probably know, OCD is "the doubt disorder." My interpretation of the chorus is that he wants to be able to let go of his doubts, his intrusive thoughts, but the idea of letting go of his obsessions is excrutiating; the most terrifying idea for an OCD sufferer is to let the fear go because everything inside you says that something worse might happen if you don't pay attention to it. All of that internal turmoil has him screaming at his doubts to LEAVE ME ALONE. I've found enormous solace in this song during my OCD journey. Hearing my experience expressed and yelling alongside him was a cathartic experience. Seeing him perform this live had me in tears more than any other song as I remembered all the times this song gave me the strength to keep going. That's my take anyway.

Well heck yeah Jonathan. After my first NF concert ever this past weekend in Denver, I was just on such a high from the music. A few days ago I found your channel and binged every NF reaction video you had... and then bam, today you drop another excellent breakdown. Super grateful sir! Thanks a million for the real quality analysis and overview of why these music videos are so darn powerful. You are very articulate and very understandable in your dissemination of the reasons for the directorial choices and how they give power to the music. Appreciate it!!

Great reaction. I appreciate your expertise in regards to video, very interesting. Just for story context I can share what my opinion is in the video. People in white are those who have found hope and carry on through their lives with a couple burdens. They eventually are able to take off their fake smile. They try to get NF to find hope and push him to the lineups. But NF just walks past them....not ready or doesn't see it. At the end the hand reaching out for NF's burdens represents God. The Bible tells us to surrender our burdens to God...NF tries yet looks back maybe concerned how others see him.
