Watch the world burn was the message of falling into your depth, and anger. Wanting to absorb the world in fire... This is coming to terms with your anger, and anguish. A full circle of emotions.

I can see that. The end of the video makes me think this is either the end of a tandem or part 2 of 3. Looking at this in cooperation with watch the world burn tells a fuller story. WTWB and video tells me a story of decent into poor mental health. "I've got voices in my head again, tread carefully, I dont medicate it helps me temporaroily" is obvious and i feel like it goes on about irritants that are pushing him to potentially dark or boiling points , and the video is all different version of him being the public enemy or villan people want him to be... a terrorists on a plane with a bomb, a seemingly malevolent leader of a world order, the devil with his demonic scribe at the typewriter, an antichrist (or possibly tying it to something similar too the mass shooter in one of too many church shootings. Then when we look at Last Resort Reimagined, it screams vulnerability and cry for help. I know the lyrics arent his, but the emotion and possibly the video are. The way they are delivered, "Cut my life into pieces, this is my last resort" now conjures to mind thoughts of someone finally seeking help. They are saying "ask your questions and ill recap everything i can to be scrutinized and directed to get what I need, because I have no other options". The nearly whitewashed city scape compared to the darkly clothed Ronnie reminds me of how I have felt in low times. I have gotten so focuses on my shortcomings and inadequacies that even though I am likely puting them on a pedestal, its like the rest of the world is fully capable of so much, while I stick out like a sore thumb for being worthless. The "I am fine"s a t the the end of the first verse remind me of the lies we tell our self, our friends, our family, a new therapist. At that point , the city or world around him is just starting to crack but he is able to hold it together. Then in the second verse he is starting to tear down his walls, open up and share his downfall. In the video, the reprise to the chorus and the ensuing Im crying's is where the city really starts to crumble around him, which possibly symbolic of the pain of reliving these events that break his world. Then it all stops music and so does the destruction. When the music comes back in it is saying I cant go on living this way. He has reached a low point and a decision is to be made. but it layers of harmonies create an almost choral effect which could relate to why songs like this are so helpful to some by showing them that even though the have felt alone in these feelings, they are not. Then the video starts to take a path of healing and mending where the buildings and the city and eventually the world which was destroyed by the poor mental health in WTWB is built back up. The reversal of that video COULD have been a economical one, because that likely was an expensive few seconds and fire wasnt used anywhere else except there. But they seemed to have quite a hefty budget for the rest of the film so it seems a bit more intentional to connect the two videos. This song was released at the end of June which is Men's Menal Health Month. I dont know if that had anything to do with Ronnie releasing this, but it certainly has helped push me closer to getting over my barriers that prevent me from getting help that is decades overdue. Regardless, this is highly likely to be my "kick me in the feelings" song of 2023 which is has had some stiff competition with two great releases from Ren, and possibly could share a top spot with Too Close To Touch's "Eiley" long-term.

I love your reaction videos for 3 main reasons; the appreciation you give to the artist and production, your explanations of how effects effect, and the joy on your face as you’re watching the videos. Please keep doing this. As for this video, I was amazed by it all. I hadn’t heard the original so will have to check it out. I. Not sure how you decide which ones to view, but if you’re for another Ren one, and haven’t already seen it, Tale of Jenny and Screech (and Violet) is a must watch video. It truly shows the Shakespeare Ren’s brain.

Through the last several years it is like Ronnie working on the most intricate tapestries. I am in Australia and would love to read his book "I can explain" but at the oment the shipping is pretty much the cost of the book. I think reading his book would give me a lot of clues into his music. I don't know why he has haters and wish someone could tell me. He is an extraordinary talent. And the rest of Falling in Reverse should never be overlooked, because they are part of what makes it all work.

Cheeky VFX comment.. People saying that at 5:06 Ronnie has no shadow. To be fair he has been comped into almost every shot, but this shot was the heaviest visually and vocally, thus my only gripe with the vid. You know it's a complement when eveyone says 'wow they must have had a huge budget'... Guys this is epitath records... not Disney. Trust, the budget is relatively small, I imagine the whole video was done by 1 person, maybe a small studio. I don't know who they are, but they did an epic job on a very small budget! Great simulations, composition, story telling and video. Also Ronnie and the band killed it!

i felt like the songs sung inaccordance to incidents of the video. like how it just gradually hit the end as "nothing 's alright" and thats where the start of the apocalypse happened and as the buildings crumble and falls the wording of the lyrics turned more positive as if accepting that this is fine even as the world is ending and hence maybe why he was considering sucide int he begining of the song. just felt like thats the story i see corelating withh the arrangement of the lyrics of the song to the video.

I have seen the original clip maybe 30 times (and listened to the song a lot more lol) and in the first 5 minutes I saw more thanks to your comments. It's subtle, but its the small things like the constantly moving camera, lens flairs, the muted color, the shots through things, and these really add to the video clip and the feeling that it's almost real, so we get sucked into that reality.

Another great reaction, I was excited to see you do this video, probably don't remember me, discovered you through NF reactions, I'm the retired firefighter new to drone videography. Wanted to see your take on a mostly CGI production, and you didn't disappoint, never would have thought about lighting as such an important role in CGI, but duh, so obvious when I think about it now. I also loved this video's nod to FPV freestyle drones, I mean Inception was a big influence overall, which I loved too, but there were subtle things that would be glaringly obvious to any freestyle drone pilot. You might know all this, and I'm just blabbering, you mentioned you are familiar with cinematic drones, just not sure if you've worked with or encountered freestyle drones. With tech of cameras getting smaller, and frame designs for drones getting lighter, they're able to put pretty decent cameras on drones that can do amazing acrobatic moves. Below are 2 clips, the 1st one is just a few short clips I pulled from this video, no audio, highlighting a few specific scenes definitely influenced by freestyle. 2nd clip is professional freestyle pilot, Johnny FPV, down in Miami, and you'll definitely see the similarities with the movement and style of the shots. Plus it's a really beautifully shot little clip and unique view of Miami. Enjoy! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ZtCcjKlp2rCyfGw.html kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gKeHi9Wlrsy9aaM.html

It’s crazy how good the cgi looked in the music video until you showed a clip of the building falling in “Inception”. I can only imagine the budget difference but the simple fact it looked great until compared to something better that I didn’t even notice the difference is insane. Kudos to both but still amazing how different cgi can look when compared.

For me, CGI lives or dies with lighting. If it is properly and accurately lit, it is amazing, if not, no amount of texturing or animation will save it. This is done really well for a music video. Reminds me of the Unreal Engine 5 demos.

As several other people said, as soon as I saw that music video, I was hoping you would do a reaction. Every Falling in Reverse video I have seen has been pretty amazing. Falling in Reverse and NF basically seem incapable of doing anything other than amazing music videos. Hopsin generally as well, but for me, some just don't appeal to me much.
