It's eye-opening tour of Carriacou Island the day after the devastating Hurricane Beryl made landfall. We went from Hillsborough, Windward and down to Tyrell Bay, and everything in between. Also, exclusive interview with the Prime Minister of Grenada as he makes his first tour of Carriacou.
A 13 square miles island, every square inch is devastated. Witness the aftermath through exclusive drone footage and personal accounts from residents who survived this deadly storm.
Check out drone video from @wxchasing to get the best look at your properties or your friends or family.
Please like and share to help show the world what happened. We were the only journalists on the island documenting Hurricane Beryl.

Hi everyone, here is a link for a fund set up by the government of Grenada for direct relief: pay.gov.gd
@CjbrkBrooks

I wouldn’t donate to any of the crooked governments down there. Samaritan’s Purse is boots on the ground right now with supplies, medical help, etc. 90% plus of all money donated goes right into the work. Donate to Samaritan’s Purse. That way you’ll know your money has gone directly into the work to help these people.

Please visit Union Island as well. Its a small island close to Carriacou that belongs to St. Vincent and the Grenadines. It has also been devastated by hurricane Beryl and about 90% of the infrastructure has been destroyed. The residents are currently still without electricity, data and cell signal. Most people haven't been able to get in direct contact with their family members on the island since the hurricane... myself included, I'm still trying to get in contact with my mom.

The soonest that they can mobilize aid or donations, we will be able to offer more tangible assistance which will help the folks in Carriacou but help to not feel that sense of hopelessness.....believe you me 2017 with Barbuda was the same thing. If people are still seeking shelter in their homes tarps, generators and water are vitally important right now.

So then Jonathan, you must have been the one who was able to provide Wi-Fi so that many, such as sis and parents, can call us to let us know that they were Ok. Thank you, and God bless you for your consideration, concern and time to do this. ❤ 🙏 ❤

Thank you. Nothing is more important as a journalist than to show the reality and the truth. It’s why we risk our lives because we knew no one else would be there to do it.

Thank You. For being there and for caring. I've shared this with the media page of my home city in Yorkshire, uk. I've shared it on my media pages and with my friends. This is utterly devastating and the world should know. If there's still a genuine body of peers left in this messed up world, I hope they give you a well earned award for Journalist of the People. I'm aghast that you were the only two bothered to care and so proud of you both for caring.
