No he isn't. Warlord doesn't have unblockables heavies or the hitboxes of lawbringer. Lawbringer is also a better ganker with is buffed impale and double tap heavies.

​@@arkhamasylum8972 I know it's a 7 months old comment but yes, Warlord actually has Hyperarmor on both his heavies, plus an undodgeable zone and undodgeable heavy from full guard.

Okay so does Lawbringer mostly feel the same, or is he gutted and is completely different? Because honestly I’ve heard nothing but those two things and it makes 0 sense.

I really don't believe the "lost their identity" argument holds any merit anymore. It's so overused. Edit: I'd like to clarify that I am not trying to be hostile, but I can not find a way to word it that doesn't read that way. What do you think his identity was, and how did he lose it?

@@justanaverageferret he was known for his insane parry punishes and impale riposte ofc, now you have no reason to use the impale anymore. not only does the light after parry not blind, but neither do any top heavies. and his damage was reduced as well. calling this a rework is just wrong, since all they did was nerf impale, damage and give him a soft feintable top unblockable

@@Bigbigger1009thank you someone with sense, his identity is very well gone but people love to talk for the sole purpose of making no sense but to be heard. Warmonger has impale with a bleed punish added to it, i rest my case.

Folks who say LB identity has been stripped are totally correct and rework is bad but the devs want it that way so folks play new/better characters. Warmonger has a impale off any form of a parry and she has bleed added to it if you hit a wall. impale was unique only to LB but now they’ve given to another character and….the move is transferred to a place where its unnecessary to use. His blinding on his top heavy is gone which no other character had. Its like….people arnt complaining for no reason and im sure for those who’ve been playing the character for years. The complaints didnt just pop up and happen.

@@zaiakiryakoz2112 just tested and nah it's not. I guess you technically can towards like the VERY end of the dodge. So you can still somewhat mix it up with a delayed bash I suppose.

@@Okina-Kev all we LB mains have is feint to guard break 😭 or feint into a single light.

The thing that irks me most is Ubi specifically said that one of the reasons for his rework has to address flow issues, he was so defensive favoured and his offence was clunky, this WAS going to be partially addressed by giving him a light chain… and then that got scrapped when his changes hit live. So… they never actually addressed his poor offensive flow which was one of the plus sides of his rework. They nerfed his defence and barely touched his offence. It still feels just as bad to feint my unblockable into a single light that I can’t chain anything but a heavy from, which will always get parried and is only helpful in team fights. Give him at least a light into light chain and he’d feel so much better offensively.

@@swadianknight9394 I know right? God Forbid the parry king has strong parries. It's not like he has an executing bash, soft feints to mixup his strings timing.. unga bunga HA.. undodgeables.. easy access unblockables.. you know, a full kit to play with and what not.

@@reaperofsouls321 He does have a full kit. Two mix ups, a opener (bugged atm but it was the same as prerework), decent punishes, average to above average damage and good hitboxes.

Wrong. He has hyperarmor so he can trade from neutral if he wifs a light.

@shalashaskaseven4841 The removal of the parry punish on heavy was fine, the stam drain removal was fine, but they got rid of the concuss too. That was like, PEAK Lawbringer memes

​@@Tundra545 Tbh they should just flat out remove the impale at this point. It's useless unless you light parry and just happen to have a ledge. Zero incentive to throw to a wall because they standardized (aka NERFED) his starter heavy dmg.. forget the bludgeoning aspect of his top heavies.. that Stam dmg is gone, the stun is gone, stam pause is gone, dmg is toned down.. zero reason to throw to the wall now. Feint on shoves is gone.. interesting option since they put it in both TGs.. removed his reactionary tool, absolutely stupid of them. No light chain to vary his dam strings? They do know he just needed a LLH and HLL just to change "Oh it's a heavy.. GB or parry oh noes.. woe is me.." mentality? If it was up to me? Remove the impale and make it a chase attack.. half the distance but give him at least 10 dmg on it.

​​@@reaperofsouls321I was hoping longarm would have been converted to a neutral mindgame at least. Also impale is indeed the same or less damage than the unblockable punish? I was afraid as much but I didn't know numbers enough to claim...just why? It's now another near useless niche move alongside longarm now. I know it was busted on heavy parries but Jon said a distance nerf would be fine, and I agree. Warmommy still gets 8 + 30 bleed on heavy parry to a wall, it's just short range, and that's still fine.

@@manz7860 exactly it is not garantee, but you can try to use it in a gank or team fight I don't know

@@saulcastillo6126it’s almost always better to get your confirmed damage instead. The only other reasonable option would be to bash and then heavy, as your opponent might slip up and expect the light so they might not react to the heavy, plus the heavy is armoured now so bash into heavy is good in team fights. Long arm animation takes too long tho, they’d see it coming
