I don't know if that's a hot take, but IMO Maushold doesn't need a buff that makes him a meta. There's no need for every new Pokemon to become one of the best. I would rather give him two different but kinda good charge moves so it still is weak, but has variety to suprise opponents and is fun to use in certain Cups. for example, Swift, Play Rough, Water Pulse and Grass Knot.

Maybe you can look yourself on pvpoke that giving it body slam doesn't make it meta it just makes it less trash but still even in a remix cup with body slam it will be dogshit. So why don't they just give it bodyslam anyway.

What would be nice: Population Bomb as a Charge Move with same energy cost as Swift but 65 damage like a Drill Peck/X-Scissor clone, or 75 damage (Doom Desire clone) if Niantic is feeling Spicy.

In terms of risks I think they need to give flying type pokemon better moves. For example since the nerfed sky attack i think they should give lugia either fly or drill peck 😭
