Mystical sounds of the ice 2020 | RAW ICE SOUNDS - 3 hours for meditation/sleep/study

As the ice begins to settle in the winter it creates mystical and otherworldly sounds that I've been fascinated by for many years. This is the third year in a row that I record the singing ice from the lake where I live. Every year creates unique ice sounds depending the weather, temperature and how the ice grows. This 3 hour long ice sound video is made completely by raw ice sounds that were recorded in the end of November 2020.
Listen with headphones for best sound experience.
All the footage of the ice is recorded by the same lake that creates the sounds :)
► If you want to know more about why the ice makes these sounds, watch this video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mc6ooZWk382pcZs.html
► Listen to the ice sounds from the previous year (every year creates unique sounds):
kzfaq.info/get/bejne/h8pddtp7xpe3eHk.html
► Fine art prints of the ice that I've taken this last year:
jonnajintonsweden.com/product-category/photoprints/rectangular-vertical/ice/
Many people experience a calming feeling when listening to these sounds. It reminds us of the sounds of whale singing. And it also reminds us of the sound from before we were born, when we were inside the womb.
I personally love to have the ice sound in the background while writing, painting or meditate.
Let me know what you think of these sounds! I hope you will enjoy it!
Thank you so much for watching/listening to this video! ♥

I’m a 70 year old man living alone in San Francisco. The sights and sounds here are none stop despair and disillusion. The last year has only made it worse. There’s only so many old movies and Netflix series one can watch, and they usually leave me more empty. Your videos bring me beauty and joy. Your beautiful personality brings warmth to my heart. Your county-side gives me a spirit I cannot find in a church. Thank you Jonna, love to all.

While that’s true, there is sound within black holes. Although that isn’t humanly possible to hear. Also radio frequencies and vibrations can be detected from probes, thus making a sound. The sounds of the ice and water surfaces are almost exactly the same as the Electromagnetic noise of the planets in our solar system. Study these noises and come to the realization that many principles in nature are the same in multiple scale harmonics. Just as the macro cosmic structures of the universe is almost an exact replica of a brain with neurons, the same structures are infinitely fast wave interference patterns of electricity and inertia between elementary particle concepts and fields in the micro cosmos. The similarities and scale harmonics of such sounds, electromagnetic phenomena and even stronger forces are mind enhancing.

Something happens when I hear this It's like hearing a sound that I have forgotten Like the ancient call of a shared origin When none of us were strangers And knew each others hearts without asking It reminds me that a song is always taking place Beneath the surface of things Singing a song that reveals my own beauty And reminds me of the beauty of others In the cracks of our own ice We can hear each other finally We can see the stars mirrored in the waters below And never again feel alone A song born of cold silence That sings a deeper song That we may never fully know

For some reason, that sound makes me think about space and feel quite insecure, yet very excited..... Imagine you went campig alone, somewhere far north, next to large frozen lake. It's getting dark and temperature goes down. The sky is clear. Above you there is infinite space full of mysteries, aurora borealis ripples on the horizon. It's complete silence, only sounds of the ice resonate through the night. And you feel peace in your heart.

I was born in February, 1985 when the winter was cold, and - as far as my mother remembered - there was a lot of snow. Winters used to be like that when I was a child and it was my favourite season, possibly because of my first experience on plamet Earth. But in the recent years it doesn't even freeze, the rain falls only at winter where I live. Now, that we have lockdown, and have to sit at home all the time, I am dreaiming about a long, cold, snowy winter, to at least enjoy the nature's beauty from my window. Probably it will not happen. That is why I love to watch your winter videos, they take me home to my real self :) thanks for showing me the beauty of the snowy Swedish north.

@@TamarMebonia it's the same for me too. I was born in January. I love winter and it is my favourite season but I slowly became to despise it because I live in a big city and I haven't seen much snow since I was a child. Winters in big cities without any snow are just depressing to me. My dream is to move to a country with long snowy winters, like sweden. But I feel so blessed because there is a snow storm coming to my city next week and I'm so exited. It'll be the first real snow in years.

What causes the sound. The water should be settled because it’s frozen and not moving as much as summer. The ocean makes a different noise but this is like air particles floating just underneath the ice. My mum told us of stories where villagers and many tourist see dark shadows come out and go into the water during specific times of the day. Maybe spiritual I don’t know. Your best ideas guys.

Jonna, THANK YOU for spreading your joy. I discovered your vlogs recently and I'm mesmerized! I wrote a little poem inspired by your vlog. I hope you like it! The lake's frozen heart melting into unearthly voices. Jonna captures water's icy voice: mysteries hidden beneath the chilly surface. Peaking into another world; a world filled with stillness and frozen time. Obsessed with ice; you -the Winter Fairy- telling us ancient stories about nature, humankind, and gods. Ghosts trapped long ago begging for freedom. Their currency? Ice songs. Aquatic meditations refreshing our souls, melting our hearts into songs.

Last week it finally froze again in my home country. We used to get much snow and ice before but as of the last years we barely get it anymore. Ice skating is something we all do very much when there is ice, even when the ice is still weak because we love it so much. Last weekend I finally got to skate for the first time in a few years and the ice was making these exact sounds and I hadn't felt at peace like that for quite a while.

I recently had a dream of me and my best friend sitting on an ice lake, listening to the ice songs. In utter peace, with all things right in the world in that moment. We cleared the snow to see the icy reflections of the cold winter day's light. I know many people despise winter, but I love it, in a deeply emotional way. I love the icy wind, the feeling of snowfall on your face, and that perfect crunch of the snow beneath your feet. To me personally, there's something incredibly moving and wonderful about Finnish winters or rather Nordic winters. I rarely get to see them despite being from there myself as I now live far away. But I hope one day that I get to see them again, those beautiful winter days and lovely winter nights, the Milky Way's arm streaked across the starry sky. More importantly, I'd do anything to have my friend see it too and one day, she will.

Remember that all disempowering beliefs about yourself are inaccurate, they're seemingly convincing smoke and mirrors; reality is always better than our disempowering mental projections. Since everything can be practiced, along with mental attitudes and habits, things are always better than they may look. They truly are. It gets easier, every day it gets a little easier. But you gotta do it every day, that's the hard part. But it does get easier. You'll be alright.
