So so soooooo good! I am in love with the insect close ups...so beautiful. That bee! Just amazing! Yea, the vlogs lately have just been fantastic(well, they're always good!)! One comment about the PILLAR: structurally compressive loads (like the one the pillar is carrying) are different than laterally applied loads (people hanging on the ladder strapped to the column). I'm wondering if the column is really built to handle people going up and down the ladder a lot, thereby applying lateral loads to the column? Any engineers out there?

Are they even still using the RED tho? They've been killing it with the GH5 lately! Casey Neistat embraced it, etc, people bitch about the autofocus and the small sensor... but those are just excuses for their poor skills. I mean, c'mon, this has been great.

The Leica SL had the iconic color tones, of course grading (Marcus Valeur) is a part of that. Nowadays they go for a more natural beauty look, rather than the azuri blues and deep oranges. The RED Weapon is dope, less distinct but an ever more pushable image with sick performance allround. But, the GH5 is a tiny compact system that can still ROAAARRR. No big deal to shoot with, lightweight, compact, battery lasts forever, etc and easy adjustments to the image (summer update is coming with even higher bitrates etc!) allows for quick turnarounds. They might take the RED with them to ski events and stuff, but otherwise, why bother? It's also about the process of taking the shots. And if you have to carry around tripods, steadicams/gimbals and big machinery, a part of experiencing the moment goes lost. The GH5 is capable of 4K60p, 1080p 180fps slowmo, has a 10-bit option, VLog-L/Cinelike profiles and also 5-axis in-body stabilization... you can pair it with awesome compact Leica lenses (albeit at a price, same for: Olympus PRO glass, or: Veydra, Voigtländer, SLR Magic, etc). Like, it's an absolute reliable handheld workhorse of a beast. Especially in the hands of capable folks like Benji. I like the videos Albert Fast drops here on KZfaq too for example. Serious filmmaking is more accessible than ever! But at the same time, you can't just buy a camera and expect to be awesome. It's about the guy/girl operating it. Lots of post processing too. So props for Benji, because he's got it down!

I'd still just about kill for a fully rigged up ARRI Alexa Mini tho. xD I mean, gear pr0n is part of the fun. But like... for daily use... it really is overkill. Like... it will kill you.
