This album was popular when I was in my early 20's. I had just moved from the little mountain town I was born & raised in, & had relocated to Cleveland to further my career. Wow! Talk about culture shock! I saw then that the world is not a safe place. But, I wouldn't trade that time for anything. I used to walk on the dock areas along Lake Erie near the R&R Hall of Fame late at night to clear my head after long days at work, listening to this very album on my Walkman! Lol

At John 5:28,29 Jesus makes it clear that a worldwide resurrection is coming. "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment." Acts 24:15 "And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." Unrighteousness doesn't exist in heaven. So those resurrected to judgment will be resurrected back to life here on earth. If they prove themselves worthy, they will be given everlasting life. John 3:16 Psalm 37:29 "The righteous will possess the earth and they will live forever on it." To think about: If the unrighteous are burning in hell for all eternity, then why are they going to be resurrected? Aren't they condemned? Romans 6:7 shows that someone who has died is acquitted from his sins. And can that fiery hell teaching be true if, as Ecclesiastes 9:5 and 10 show "the dead know nothing at all"? If you'd like to discuss this my email address is on my about page. I wish you well.

WOW THATS DEEP .. :)
@albertowiti3485 Жыл бұрын
@@BrianKliewer Salvation is not a performance or of works. It (Salvation) is a gift and cannot be earned. We are given Jesus righteousness because we believed in Him. The judgment for sins was borne at the cross by our Lord Jesus Christ. So the judgment coming is not about sins but for unbelievers rejecting the gift. As for believers the judgment is about our ministering and whether we preached a ministry of reconciliation(grace) or a ministry of condemnation (law). If one preached a ministry of reconciliation(grace) a reward would be awaiting them but if you preached a ministry of condemnation(law) a loss of reward would occur though you would still be in heaven because of accepting the gift. Ephesians 2:8-10 2 corinthians 5:17-21 Romans 10:1-4 Romans 3:21-24 Our Lord Jesus Christ loves you all very much.

I am French. When this came out, I was about 14 yo, living in Paris. At the time, I was into Latin music and heard this song (and the Spanish version Otro dia más sin verte) for the 1st time on Radio Latina. I used to listen to it in loops. It was my favourite song as a teenager (along some Guns n’ Roses songs). I had forgotten about this song until tonight when I heard it on Instagram. 30 years later this song makes my heart race the same way. Such a beautiful and underrated song. This song has such an energy, passion and pace.

Her name was Alba. She was Israeli, I'm American. We met in Thailand, ended up working together for a number of years. She practically defined that entire period of my life... She died in 2018 saving a little girl from a burning hut. This was one of the many songs she had on repeat on her playlist whenever we got the chance to relax and listen to music. I saved every one of those songs when I got her personal effects... She was enamored with America, and we had dreams of getting married and her becoming a US citizen and growing old together.
