When I saw you in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. two years ago, opening up for Taj Mahal and Keb' Mo', I was blown away - you absolutely killed it, in my humble opinion! You are living proof the blues is alive and kicking. Keep up the great work!

I just heard you for the first time on PBS. Thank the Lord somebody is bringing back old blues I am old boy because I’m old and I loved Luz since I was eight years old and you’re doing a great job and I appreciate it

I'm so glad I found this man. He keeps the real deal alive. Guys like Justin Johnson are amazing, but this is as authentically classic as it gets. I'd love to see them two Collab one day though!

I’m not sure how to say this, but I’m a middle-aged white guy and I am SICK AND TIRED of seeing fat old white guys passing themselves off as blues musicians! Of course there have been white guys like Stevie Ray Vaughan who could play the hell out of a Strat, but he played a specific Texas brand of blues, not back to basics material like this. I’m sick of running into people who say they love blues, only to find out that they mean Joe Bonamassa, as if he himself invented the genre. When you bring up greats like Muddy, the Wolf or even Johnson, they look at you like a deer in the headlights. Thank you for playing this extraordinary music and keeping it alive!!!

I get where you're coming from, but I think you're being a bit harsh. I appreciate anyone preserving the heart of the Blues, if they're coming from a sincere place. Having said all that, George Thorogood evokes your sentiment in me 😪. ☝🏽💙❗
