Thanks to Lucas Estrada for requesting Nelvana (that sorta rhymed). Enjoy! Nelvana was founded in 1971 in Canada by Michael Hirsh (now in the directory of DHX Media), Patrick Loubert, and Clive A. Smith to produce and distribute children's animated shows and movies originally. The original specials the company produced (from 1977 until 1980) were distributed by Viacom Enterprises. Until 1985, the company did not have an animated logo separate from the credits at the end of their shows, instead using an in-credit version of its logo. Today, it's a subsidiary of Corus Entertainment. The company's name originally came from a female Canadian comic book superhero from the 1940s named Nelvana of the Northern Lights, but the three decided to use a polar bear instead for a logo in order to avoid confusion. Nelvana is known for making shows like Max & Ruby, Mysticons, Franklin, The Care Bears, Babar, Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends, and many more!

1:53 Actually, it's from the original theatrical release, which can be seen in 35mm prints of the film before the 1985 G Rated MPAA screen at the end. The blue end credits first appeared in the 1985 VHS and can be seen in TV airings. However, as of the 2000 MGM VHS release, the original end credits were restored back into the film.

I remember seeing these logos watching My Friend Rabbit and Jacob Two-Two growing up! Oh, the nostalgia! I'm not Canadian, by the way, these shows aired on the Qubo channel I grew up with from late 00's to early 10's. :)

Some shows produced by Nelvana (along with other companies) I remember watching include Mike the Knight, The Backyardigans, Handy Manny, Guess with Jess, The Adventures of Chuck and Friends, Scaredy Squirrel, The ZhuZhus, and Mysticons.

Same!!! I even saw a rare version of it when CBBC here in the U.K. were showing “Sidekick”, one of Nelvana’s Cartoons From Late 2010! In that version when it showed the Nelvana logo the logo would freeze for a few seconds whilst the haze lighting in the background was doing it’s animation and whilst the end of the theme tune would play, then it would cut to a CBBC promo for a different show!

If you watch Nick jr or PBS shows you definitely saw Nelvana. I saw it a lot especially in the 2000s when you're watching Max and Ruby, Franklin, Little Bear, obviously the magic School bus. It was also when other shows in the 2010s especially The Backyardigans, The fresh beat band of spies, definitely bubble guppies and a lot more from Nick \Nick Jr. Just want to say for the shows that I mentioned Fresh Beat Band of spies, Bubble Guppies, Backyardigans, and so many more Nelvana does not appear until 2007-2013 ish. I forgot to mention another show but this is not from Nickelodeon from Disney Handy Mandy yep it had the Nelvana logo. The current Nelvana is mainly being used I believe in the revival of Max and Ruby so what was looking it up I have found more shows that have been a part of Nelvana shows as of currently 2024 include hotel Transylvania the series, Corn and Peg but no one watches the show and bravest warriors And then as the old logo back in 2004 through present including Fresh Beat Band of Spies,The ZhuZhus,Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends, obviously, The Fairy OddParents but that's only through seasons 1 through 5, a few other shows Little charmers which I don't think anyone remember that show,class of the clans, Rescue Heroes and multiple others you can actually just find Nelvana Wikipedia page it literally has a list of the shows that they made / produced

Technically the Jimmy Timmy power hour was made by Butch Hartman, O entertainment, DNA productions and Frederator (distribution) Why is Nelvana not a part of the Jimmy Timmy power hour I think it got replaced by Frederator and only Nelvana is the international distribution of the fairly OddParents seasons 1 through 5 before switching to Frederator productions being the distribution on DVDs along with Nickelodeon. And also since if you live in the USA like me it will only just play Butch Hartman's creative production billbard and Frederator for who distributes adventure Time so for international countries it would show all three logos Frederator, Nelvana and billbard inc and that's only through seasons 1 through 5. So when short terms it would be the same thing for us in the USA and the same thing for international countries but only only through for the fairly OddParents if you're asking only through seasons 1 through 5 that you will see Nelvana. All the other seasons are made by Nickelodeon productions frederator productions and Butch Hartman production billbard inc. That's what it says on Wikipedia I hope it kind of makes sense and sorry it's very long.
