Nice video, to resolve the water meter issue of them not being synced, have you thought about just installing it to the pump directly? so it reads out water usage before it gets distributed.

Make dummy d battery's, could be round timber a screw in the middle. Then, drill a tiny hole in the battery box for wires. 12 volt to 3 volt dc to dc converters. Jaycar has for $33 it's 7 amps

Cheers for the video, appreciate the use of the flow measure device. How accurate do you find it to be when used as shown? E.g. does it come close to the 20L mark when the jerry is empty? I used to have one for my gravity fed tap and it was wildly out.
