Jordan Belfort came through for his first-ever VladTV interview, and he spoke about how his story was portrayed in the Hollywood film “Wolf of Wall Street,” with Leonardo DiCaprio portraying him. Jordan spoke about his upbringing in Queens with both parents being accountants, but Jordan had an entrepreneurial spirit at a young age that led to several business ventures that funded his college. Jordan then spoke about deciding to be a trainee stockbroker, which led to a conversation about penny stocks and him starting his own company, Stratton Oakmont. During the conversation, Jordan also spoke about being investigated and later indicted for securities fraud and money laundering in 1999. Jordan was later sentenced to four years, and he spoke about sharing a cell with “Cheech and Chong” actor Tommy Chong, who encouraged him to write a book about his life. After leaving prison, a bidding war started for the film rights to his book, which later went to Martin Scorsese. Jordan spoke about the making of “Wolf of Wall Street,” and he also shared his thoughts on real estate, Grant Cardone, bitcoin, and stocks, which you can hear about in the full interview above.

Jordan Belfort is a prime example of a man capitalizing on every situation in any way he can. Much can be learned from his mentality despite his shortcomings. I am fascinated by people who are always thinking about the next move. If you take the time to listen you can learn from their approach. I realize that people like the Wolf on Wall Street are very disagreeable & will not take no for an answer. Great interview!

Well, he’s making money now and is essentially flaunting his wealth all over social media… he has victims to pay back that he stole from! He ruined many families! He should be paying these people back! Yes, he did his time, but his time served doesn’t mean that his debts are wiped away! Also, as part of his plea deal, I believe that he agreed to pay them back! He is still doing shady business deals today, and has taken some of his businesses out of the United States in order to hide his true income! Overall, this man did a lot of damage, and he’s still doing scummy stuff today! Maybe it will catch up to him someday, and karma will take care of Mr. Belfort! 😉🤔

Wait til you hear about paid internship programs in Universities and Colleges😂 People in the trades think that college goers can’t get hands on experience, it’s hilarious…. Nowadays there’s paid internships that allow you get experience from reputable companies before you even graduate, many people even have jobs lined up upon graduation thanks to this. The world isn’t as black and white as you think, bud. The whole world can’t be plumbers the same way the whole world can’t be surgeons

Jordan tells about a 1 lie per minute in this interview lmao. First 5 minutes of the interview: 1.) He made $150,000 selling ices at the beach in a singular summer, which he then used to pay for school (Why go to school if you're making that amount of money already? More likely his Jewish family paid for his education), 2.) He dropped out of medical school on his first day and moved back in with his parents (makes very little sense to need to live with your parents if you had made / can make $150,000 per summer) 3.) He expanded his first business to 27 delivery trucks and went bankrupt in only 2 years (no bank would loan that much money to a brand new business being run by a 21-23 year old), 4.) His very first day on the job at the stock market ended up being Black Friday (incredibly improbable from an odds perspective to happen on the very first day working; would be more believable had it been in the first year, month, or even week). It'd seem as if the guy who made a fortune off of manipulating innocent investors happens to be a compulsive liar. He felt so bad about his actions that he made it into a movie, starring Leo as him. Very VERY serious personality disorder, holy shit bro lmao.

I love his realness. I used to not care about this dude's story at all.. Then one day, I felt like watching Wolf, and I figured out that really Jordan comes off as vain and cocky, but I could see he was so real of a guy that he even loved the characters that he gave jobs. His best friend in the movie, Jonah Hills character in the movie, the whole cousin thing, the crack smoking out of nowhere.. the way Jordan just followed along, and how actually loyal he was back then to his boys.. I mean he laughs about that guy here! 🤣 I know Jordan sees the world differently. He's not like a thug gangster having people killed or anything. He's actually got quite an easy going attitude about things. I just don't care for what he did to his first wife, who basically allowed him to grow into what he became, though with the best intentions for him. They were so happy before that money.

54:00 yawn. I would have been ten years old when Stratton Oakmont was busted and I’m in my late 30’s now. The movie came out ten years ago. If I was in my 50’s like Jordan and people were still giving me sh** about bad decisions I made in my 20’s - it’s a period of life where we do the riskiest, impulsive things. Remember, there was a point when he was sat in a jail cell having lost everything. Kudos to any man who can bounce back from that. Awesome communication skills and emotional intelligence. I take those cringe moments such as Vlad mentioning his little Warren Buffett book and his investments as something that just crops up on this channel now and then. Like starting the Michael Franceze interview by asking about his biological father vs Sonny which, Michael being another top level communicator navigated perfectly. Seeing how those cringe moments go down is partly why I watch tbh😁
