@GBDazzler To answer your question, the wrestlers both were in a scramble position and borroughs had technically and physically the same amount of control the same amount of control leaving the mat as the iranian meaning 3 points were out of the question, as jordan had the single leg forcing the iranian out of the mat first, the one point was given to the american.

My take on it though isn't a question of in bounds or not, but if there was exposure. i slowed it down and pause it at multiple points ... Burroughs back wasn't really exposed in the scramble. He travels more like a cartwheel than over his back.

@GBDazzler Er...there was not a folkstyle implemented rule in there. Control does not mean top, control simple means the amount of support points that can be manipulated by another wrestler, wether it be the legs torso arms or head.

I was so confused watching this. I am used to watch collegiate matches then when it was freestyle I was like what is going on? Then I told myself, "oh yeah it is freestyle."

@CPGRAPPLE The top of his back and left shoulder touch, that definately gets exposure points in freestyle, but the iranian coaches are the worst when it comes to the cube and complaining about possible bad calls, they are just too uneducated to do it properly, for example like last year goudarzi had his singlet across his face by tsargush iranians did nothing, this year the usa coaches complained and it stopped tsargush cheating and helped get burroughs the win.
