Everyone laughing doesn't realize he was left in a horrendous situation. We had already played our hand way too early we've been half way in and half way out on burns for years and everyone knew this was the year. We couldn't afford him and it wouldn't have financially made sense since we're in a rebuild. Teams knew all they had to do was wait it out and we would take what we could get or be forced to take nothing. Morgan has done exactly what you're supposed to do when you're in a rebuild. Tear it down, clean the books and build from the inside out with young talent. Anyone who doesn't realize that doesn't realize what's actually happening.

I don’t know about their cap and roster situations but could just be it doesn’t work out with whatever they need or can afford, or they could be trying to get another in the draft

They traded so much draft capital to bring in pricey vets that it’s catching up to them & they can’t keep everyone paid & happy so decisions are being made for others benefits
