Thanks to you, I am having alot of success with Cash Budgeting. I really like giving all my money a "job". If I have unassigned money in my checking or wallet...i will spend it - not anymore! My biggest long term goal is buying a new to me car for cash. For 2022, I am asking myself "Do I want/need this purchase than I want/need a new car". Thanks for all you do.

We do sick day fairies even with the little boys. The fairy will bring a bag of goodies from the dollar store usually has a coloring book, a puzzle blocks simple art project all items that are sit down quite type things. We have 5 generations. The fairy doesn’t come everytime they are sick we just suprise them and the fairy may bring in the morning or afternoon. They love it.

Nashville has Piercy Priest Lake and part of that is Nashville Shores Water Park. We had season passes last year and my kids loved it! They are a little older than yours, so I'm sure your boys would enjoy it even more. There are some smaller beaches/lakes that you can purchase single day passes - depending on where you are located. Don't forget about all the water falls too! Many (not all) of them have fun little swimming holes there as well!

When I lived in Nashville, I went for walks around Radnor Lake a few times a week. It had a nice trail and it was peaceful. You can't swim in the lake, it's just a nice place for a walk and to look for turtles.

I had to open an "online" savings account as well! However, since starting my financial journey in mid-August, I have a mindset that if my money doesn't live in my binders, that money doesn't exsist (unless a true emergency comes up).

I just recently found your channel and while I don't have a Nashville answer for you I wanted you to know my little family is from southeast Louisiana (I'm from slidell) and we just moved about an hour north of Nashville in July and we absolutely love it here.
