The reason for Rose's power walk is two-fold: she's already in position for her next move, but they never stand still and don't move. Jisoo isn't in position, and she needs to move quickly. So instead of having Rose stand there doing nothing, while waiting for Jisoo and then matching her dance moves, they have her do the same move as Jisoo early and do a little power walk in a circle so she's not doing nothing.

The Dance Performance was shot on a white cyclorama, which is a wall that curves into a floor (you can also do it with paper). The scene was shot with pink gels over the lights giving everything a pinkish cast. Towards the end of the video, when the background dancers come out, everyone moves forward and you can see Rosé's hair become more grey as they move out of the pink lights, the floor starts to go whiter as well.
