This is so awesome! I met my best friend 55 years ago and we are still going strong! We both recently retired and have smaller dining tables - what a great way to make our empty nests feel warm and inviting! I'm so looking forward to doing this project - thanks again!

I'm always using graph paper to figure out whatever quilt I'm working on, because I have a really hard time making a pattern as it's written. It would be great to have this clipboard to keep all my graph papers for a project all in one piece! Great table runner too. Love the idea of making a quilt out of the pattern. I LOVE this pattern and, as always, you make it look so EASY! I think I liked the red border best because the green binding with the lines gave it a rope-like appearance. Very pretty! Donna even though I can't quilt right now I love to watch the videos you make, but it makes me sad that I can't jump in and sew (my stuff is in storage). As I sat and watched your demo I was trying to figure out how to make the runner into a quilt and there it was you showed us how to do it. I love the secondary pattern effect that was from the green binding. It almost looks like it is braided because of the diagonal print.
