this song genuinely blew me away they somehow manage to give us something new everytime while still having that 'ateez' sound ill probably always love ateez they are so amazing

when i firsts started listening i wasn’t too sure on the song. but it has QUICKLY grown on me. i freaking love it!!

Heya, me too. First listening, doubtful. Second one, found some parts I like. Now I just love their stage performance n the energy of the song.

This song honestly blew me out of the water. When I first heard the short preview, I thought "what the hell am I listening to??Is this even Ateez??" It was SUCH a departure from what I was used to hearing from them and I was so confused. But I listened to the preview a couple more times and decided to wait until the full song came out to see if I actually liked it. When I heard the whole song for the first time I was like "that's it, THIS IS THE SONG!!" I was instantly hooked and have had it and the entire album on repeat since it dropped. It's so good!!!

Speaking as an author, there are only so many themes out there and rebellion against authority is one that's been around since the beginning of mankind. I think lots of groups are using that theme now in their concepts because the younger generations are fed up with how the older ones have screwed up the world and demand compliance above all else. I mean, I'm Gen X and I empathize more with the Millennials and Gen Z than I do with generations older than me and even lots of people in my own often forgotten (because we're smaller) generation. I mean, JUST B (whom I love) have a similar breaking out of an oppressive institution theme from their debut, and that's okay. There's room for lots of groups to have these themes because the music will be different, the styling will be different, the overall feel will be different. This song and album are amazing as are those by JUST B, Stray Kids and others. The whole "Our favorite group owns this concept/style" thing needs to go the way of the dodo bird. BTW, always enjoy your reactions.

Exactly, anything dystopian is going to share elements with other dystopian concepts. As I've read comments on reaction videos, there are people who think it's like 1984, Metropolis, The Giver, Divergent and more--because they're dystopian.
