For everyone who's confused: SIGN LANGUAGE FOR DEAF PPL IS ALLOWED! but these Handsigns shown in this chart are prohibbited as they might have an offensive meaning towards the holy place they are in... and since this is a mosque and no "traditionell sightseeing spot" but an actual place of worship there should be respect towards that place and the ppl praying in it... and also some of these Handsigns are used by organisations/gangs abusing/insulting Islam and muslims and to prevent the spread of fake news/ disrespect they're prohibited. EDIT: Since i have seen a few comments asking "what about this or that sign" i will add, that there are millions of visitors at this mosque from all arround the world every year and different handsigns/gestures or even sertain actions might have an offensive/disrespectful/ or simply different meaning or are even considered rude in sertain places/countries. And lets not forget this is an arab country and they too have their own culture and some of these signs/actions might also be considered disrespectful/offensice there so to prevent any inconvinience and to not offend anyone(not natives nor tourists) this range of handsigns/actions has been prohibbited to prevent any unpleasant incidents. See it that way, if you go to Japan for example you can't just hug strangers as a way to say "hello" (or even "friends") bc it's considered rude there or you can't talk on trains exept in marked spots and much more due to their culture and you wouldn't question or even disrespect/insult it bc you went to THEIR country where they PRACTICE THEIR CULTURE and you have to adapt for your stay out of respect!. If you don't want to do that don't go it's that simple!.No need to insult and disrespect no matter where and who and no matter if you agree or not!. Same thing applies in this mosque too!(with "same thing" it is meant, that out of respect for the different culture you can't do/say/show etc. sertain things!). I hope this helped clarify it a bit😉.

It’s recommended you go to the part of the mosque with no roof, with the huge quartz ground, take of your shoes and start walking on there, despite the sometimes 40°C weather, the floor is cold!
