There's a lot of great players up here in the arctic, glad someone from my generation got recognized and put in the NHL. Hope more of us here get recognized for our hockey potential cause we know how to play great. hockey.

This guy is such an inspiring player, I remember him on team Canada. He could hit like a freight train! To be able to still go on after a devastating loss of a sibling and no doubt overcome discrimination along the way! I'm not surprised he had a drinking problem with pressure like that and him asking for help demonstrates tremendous courage....and a willingness to share his story shows courage as well....he's all around awesome!

did a high school project on him and it was one of my first As, seen him in Thompson MB Co op gas bar and didn't even get a chance to tell him :(. Jordon Tootoo is a true Native role model xx

He is very honest with his book ,as he should be, it's not all cushy and he admits he was not always a model person, but that's ok, anybody that is curious about Jordin ,read his book, very interesting reading material ❤

His brother Terrance played for my old hometown echl team in Roanoke Va. These two played exactly the same way. Both were so fun to watch on the ice.

I never knew about what happened to his brother. Jordins a legend for everything hes been through and what hes made of himself. Absolute warrior.

As a hockey parent I never liked his nasty hits other players had to endure from him! I guess that's the name of the game though and I'm a softy! Love how humble Jordan is and keep doing you because you are an inspiration to a lot of youngsters out there especially indigenous youngsters!❤️🙏

Jordo was a beast on the ice, and a humble spirit off the ice. May he & his family enjoy their lives after the NHL. Who knows, maybe he'll return one day to NHL, assistant coaching.

I love these stories bigger than hockey especially if I can relate to it. I suffer with mental health issues and that’s how u related to this. But it’s just a great story.

One of the best fighters ever entered the ice! Noone wanted to fight with him. I think he never lost a fight in his entire career. So he will be up to top 3 fighters i guess of all time cannot imagine who was even stronger than him
